i just drank 50 year old beer and now im worried could methanol in someway be formed in it and cause blindness? does the alcohol go bad?

btw, i think the only thing that could possible make you sick is mold..

as long as its not possible for methanol to form blindness would be terrible and i know nothing of aged alcohol i assumed mold could not grow in alcohol

In pure alcohol no, but remember, beer contains alot of water....its just my thoughts, i think you will be fine.. how did it taste?

You should be fine unless it somehow had mold in it... If it was airtight, it should last a long time, though it may not taste great. I'm not sure how well a can holds a seal over long periods though TBH.

a can, i just killed my forth with 2.5mg kpins and im feeling really buzzed if it has mold what will happen

noo sense in responding anymore..ur on your 4th you dont care what will happen

yeah.. this is pointless

you're on your 4th can of "50 year old beer" and you're asking if it's safe

come on man.. use your fuckin head

no i really care i just want to make sure aged alcohol can not convert methanol, i figure alcohol cannot grow mold but thats why im asking i can take antifungals if thats the case.

my father collects 1000s of old beers i have access to about any beer ever made and he said it didnt matter if they were drank so iassumed safe

ya

i can list the brands if you want, i have drank 6 now and no ill effects acctually taste fantastic i think there is yeast floatingaround though

but in no way can methanol be produced by aged beer?
