I performed a CWE on 4 pills with 100mL. I definitely used too much water previously because after the first filtration this time, I ended up not getting much in the coffee filter, but had a noticeable amount at the bottom of the glass. Would it be a good idea to use even less water? The reason I ask is because after reading the CWE MegaThread for over an hour, everyone had a different opinion on how much to use. Some said they used 100mL for 8-10 pills, some even said they used more pills than that. And I was also wondering why my filter was not capturing the APAP? Especially when I squeezed the filter, most of the APAP went right on through. What other types of filters could I try? As far as household items, I've read t-shirts don't work well, but button-up collard shirts do. Someone also mentioned board shorts.

I appreciate your post. I was so concerned about taking too much APAP because every thread I read before I had to post my own was talking about how it is the worst thing for you. I definitely will not be taking 4-5g+ every single day, I just needed someone to tell me I would be fine in that one instance (didn't have time that day to CWE).
@OpioPhyllis
Exactly. I am not trying at all to say that I have not used opiates recreationally, because I have. I do not hide my drug use from anyone, and I believe by doing that I won't be a closet user, increasing and increasing my doses. It's just so frustrating being a 25 year old, unable to explain to the person that is charge of fixing my body that the medication is not potent enough to make my pain subside. I feel like my age, my looks, and the nature in which I snapped my arm (skateboarding), puts me into a category in which the surgeon needs to be extra cautious while judging me to see if I'm just trying to get "high". I broke my other arm when I was 15, and it's so ironic because I believe they gave me the 5/500 hydrocodone and after the first night, the pain was so excruciating, my dad took my into the hospital first thing in the morning. They did not even hesitate to inject me with Morphine and write me a brand new script for what he said was called Vicodin ES. I assume they were 10/1000mg? This would have been around 2001/2002. I just don't get that if these synthetic narcotics are legalized for coping with intense pain, why doctors would be so concerned about finding the correct dose to alleviate the pain. If I was a doctor, I would have been much more concerned about giving the 15year old me too high of a dose versus the 25year old me. I had no knowledge of opiates and their effects until I broke my arm that year, and really, that situation is what ultimately got me into using the drugs recreationally.
