2C-E Stomach Discomfort Tips?

I know there are plenty of threads on the nausea during the come-up, but what I'm talking about isn't nausea but rather stomach discomfort or general all-around dysphoria while coming up.

I asked this question in my trip report but just thought I might get more responses here.

I took 25 mg DPH when I tripped and got no nausea but still this unbearable discomfort.

I was wondering what would help... more DPH? Advil? Opiates? Pepto Bismol?

I'm desperate for any solution because it was my favorite trip but the come-up was unbearable for a few hours
 
What's your stomach like before you eat, full or empty? I've done it on an empty stomach and I always feel fine. I always get SLIGHT nausea but it goes away within 10 minutes or so. When I snort it however, it's a whole different story, and the body load is unbearable.
 
IME, Taking it sublingually helps with the nausea.

25-50mg diphenhydramine is a good start, if more is needed I have found cannabis to quite helpful, not only does it eliminate nausea, but turns the body load into a wonderful body high (at least for me it does). Of course, I'm not sure how well you react to cannabis whilst tripping, as it a source of significant anxiety for some people, but it's worth a shot.
 
I've never tried this but apparently putting it in juice and drinking it over an hour or so won't cause too many stomach problems. You can try nasal over a period of time too.

Missed that statement somehow, in that case, I'd double the earlier sublingual suggestion, or recommend snorting. Snorting it will feel like a thousand ants are eating your sinuses from the inside, and there will be more nausea, but the shorter comeup may be easier psychologically (it is for me anyway).
 
I find it unavoidable with 2c-e, just expect some nausea and if it gets really bad make yourself throw up and you'll be fine. - Not the most harm reducing way, but tends to do it rightly for me.
 
So basically just let the powder sit under my tongue? Does this affect the potency at all or is it the same strength as just swallowing it?
 
It should be stronger actually, but you might get chemical burn under your tongue.
 
So doing that will eliminate the horrible come up?

And also, it seems like half the time people say snorting bypasses the terrible come up but the other half of the time, people say it makes it worse... which one is correct?
 
It depends on the person. There is a big difference between nausea and dysphoria though - the nausea I can sometimes avoid - the dysphoria always happens to me with C-E and C-I during the come-up.
 
The most important difference with methods like snorting, plugging, and sublingual administration, IMO, is that the discomfort is much shorter. It is definitely more intense, however. I'd take 10 minutes of retching and confusion over 2 hours of steady discomfort any day, though.
 
Yeah, when snorting it, you only feel like shit starting 10 minutes after you snort it, for about 20 minutes or so. After that, your body sorta levels out, but you still feel like you did some kind of amphetamine throughout the trip.
 
Tums can be surprisingly helpful in my experience. The come-up is usually unpleasant for me as well; I watch a TV show or a movie to distract myself for a little while until the peak sets in and I can forget about the bodyload.
 
Would snorting the 2C-E with something else at the same time possibly reduce the pain?
 
Preload ginger, lots of ginger. You can get the powder, but that's not as good as taking fresh root, slicing it real thin and soaking it in hot water to make tea. Let it set for 15-30 minutes and stir a few times, then strain the water and make sure to squeeze the ginger root free of all the liquid it has soaked up. Then take you tea and drink it straight (not the best) or add lemonade mix to make ginger lemonade. I make around 4 big glasses of tea with 1 pound of root and that is more than enough to last a single night. You can keep drinking it later on as well if you want a safe drink you know won't mess with the gut. Ginger has a digestive enzyme in it that will help keep your gut clean for the trip.

Also pepto bismol tabs, antacids, antigas simethicone, loperamide (antidihheria), and travel sickness tabs (not diphenhydramine though, stay away from anticholinergics/DPH!).

I have been preloading with lots of ginger tea 1 hour before using, and also loperamine, travel sickness and simethicone pills to good effect lately.

It doesn't always work perfect as puking is almost inevitable sometimes, but I don't get the gas cramps or stomach churns anymore as long as I take multiple doses if I am planning on having an extended (8 hour+) bender.
