Well, strangely enough, I've been thinking about that lately. Always firmly believed that fish = meat and that as a vegetarian I should not eat it, but was watching a debate with a philosopher and Richard Dawkins about it and actually if fish don't experience pain or awareness in the way that other animals do, there are a hell of a lot worse things than killing one for food..

I don't like fish though so neatly avoid any moral dilemmas :D

Ah, that works. I always like to ask because, the sight of raw chicken or beef makes me uncomfortable (I don't want to have to prepare it myself, although I have, but when I do I find I enjoy it much less than if someone else dealt with the blood and such for me) but I've watched fish die, and be prepared for food (I don't really know of anyone who just kills them for sport) and was not bothered in the least. I actually saw a good deal of dead fish yesterday, and compared to the gross feeling in my stomach I get when I even see a piece of deer roadkill, the fish seem like nothing at all.

Plus, "there's plenty of fish in the sea," right? %)

My girlfriend is a "pezcatarian" (she hates the term just like I do) because she's a vegetarian who eats seafood. She's doing it for health reasons, however.

Either way, its changed my diet so its less meat-intensive and I actually have lost weight and feel healthier since I've eaten less meat, for what its worth. :)

Methamphetamine is more neurotoxic than regular amphetamine (Adderall is a mixture of racemic (dextro/levo amphetamine) and dextroamphetamine. All amphetamines are neurotoxic, however.

There's actually an in-depth and very interesting thread active over in our friends ADD about that exact same topic (the title mentions methamphetamine but the discussion is in regards to both amphetamine and methamphetamine):

How Does Methamphetamine effect your Neurological receptors?

I recommend reading through it. :)

^^yeah i saw that thread, its really interesting,

Saying that short-term learning benefits from drugs can be considered 'learning drugs' when long term effects present infact learning damage, is a dangerous positon to take.

its just this quote that worries me abit

^It's starting to become more and more apparent that yes, even in prescribed and commonly used dosages, Adderall and Dexedrine are in fact neurotoxic.

A lot of drugs are neurotoxic, however. One of them is ethyl alcohol (ethanol). Commonly known as drinking alcohol.

Moderate your use and you'll be okay.

It really depends, I know plenty of people who are prescribed Dexedrine and completely dependent on it to function on a day to day basis, but even they take 1-2 day breaks once a week or so.

If you don't need to take them, I'd say as least often as possible. That being said, I tend to take Dexedrine two or three days in a row and then take at least a day off. I've actually not taken Dexedrine in the past five or so days, which is something I haven't done in a while.

How often are you taking it now? Dexedrine or Adderall or....?

adderall, i used to take it every sunday so i could get all of my chores and cleaning done lol. but i stopped because id take one, then think about how great i felt, then take another, and just repeat the process:\

so right now im taking a break to prove to myself that i can accomplish shit without drugs haha.

Yeah have been thinking about the health aspects of it lately too.. might have to start taking a fish oil supplement as I really don't like fish itself! I still struggle with the idea of being a veggie yet eating fish, but I can definitely see the arguments for it..

And yeah veggie diets are awesome! :D good excuse to eat lots of cheese, too.. have vaguely considered veganism at times but I fucking love cheese, couldn't be done <3

I really really love cheese too. And I have to at least have the option of eating a hamburger every once in a while. It's certainly helped cutting back on meat though. I try and consume a fish oil supplement when I can. I've noticed its helped with my skin a great deal, and helps me recover from sunburns quicker (I have very very white skin)

alright sounds good:) thanks

Not a problem :)

Score!!!!

Just an update cause I know you guys are just dying to get an update from me. =D

So I talked my Doc into Lyrica for my anxiety.....and he proceeded to dump a year's supply of the 100mg ones on me.

KA - CHING!!!

I just popped 3 of them about an hour ago and I feel pleasantly drunk. Damn these things could knock out any anxiety/depression I could possibly have. I feel like I'm floating without a care in the world.

well one thing about o-desmethyltramadol is that it slows down your drinking rate my a millions miles. Have just been sipping cider very very slowly whilst on it tonight. I guess that is a positive thing though :)

Had not been the best of nights for me :( Had a big discussion earlier that has kind of given me some real closure, and also kind of given me permission, for want of a better word, to move forward with my life in a positive way. So I guess there is a silver lining to the pain and crying that happened earlier this evening :\

^I've noticed that about all opiates, although tramadol (and by extension ODMT) does it a lot more. That's good to hear though. :)

There is always a silver lining, my friend!

ha yeah i guess i should be somewhat grateful its just a day.

thank you for the suggestions

Another thing,if your mixing it with alcohol and you feel like shit and your throwing up every 10 mins, lots and lots of masturbation helps :)
