http://www.mernagh.ca/feds-seek-time-out-on-90-marijuana-legalization-deadline-june-22-10-a-m/

today at 10am so its in progress, there is a meeting, discussing the previous mernagh ruling where the judge gave canada 90 days to fix the medical marijuana problem or else the marijuana laws in canada fail,

10am is the deadline, health canada is asking for more time, but mernagh and his crew of lawyers are fighting it,

soon, all you canadian stoners might be puffing away in freedom, if things go our way,

the governement has apealed, but have done nothing on working towards a solution and they are asking for more time,

although we all know any grace period would be short lived since the conservatives now have a majority ,

edit: claudia sucks:(

If it does get legalized, you know the american dea is going to try to crack down on canada (threaten embargos and sanctions and whatnot) Doubt it'll work tho, unless harper bends the country over for the dea to fuck everyone
Go Canada! I'm waiting for the outcome=D Lets hope it gets legalized

...Considering that cannabis has been labelled by scientists as the least toxic substance known, thereby making it even less toxic than the water we drink and the air we breathe, and...
Wah-waaa whaat?

Good luck!

I think it was in "The Union" that they had a DEA agent or somesuch talking about how he refused to let Canadians continue to manufacture poison to export to his country, followed by a Canadian politician pointing out that the USA is the world's largest tobacco producer, and asking "who is exporting poison here?". That made me chuckle.

Canada, you can do it.

Legalization in Canada would put more pressure on U.S. lawmakers to legalize. We can't fight a drug war on both borders, now can we?

While this is a hopeful sign, I'd bet a large chunk of money that Harper would do his best to kill it as soon as he could. I hope I'm proven wrong, but I really don't think that I will be.

I'm sorry but I don't get how this is going to work.

If Health Canada doesn't fix the medicinal maryjuanna problems, the laws over cannabis in Canada will be suspended?! Until they make up regulations over it?

Thank you for the explanation.

@ LouLou : I thought that's what we were already doing all the time!? :P
