PLEASE READ! And help me. Sorry for the long read. But I want to get to the bottom of this so please read it all.
January the 5th, remember it like it was yesterday. Ordered a gram of mephedrone from a site that's I know for sure had mephedrone because its like the number 1 drone site after researching.

First a description of me before trying mephedrone. Well I was 18 (19 in feb.) when I tried it. Completely healthy young man. Who've been smoking weed for about 5 yrs everysince 8th grade. And been poppin E since I was 16 (young I know) I've popped probably over 50 pills idk, stopped for like a year before I tried drone. Also popped my share of prescription pills. Anyway not new to drugs at all, even sold most of them. Anyway still a completely healthy dude.

Around last xmas one of my buddys suggested I try drone, after telling me about it I just had to try it being an ex-pill popper and all. Ordered a gram (powder) from a well known site. After the holidays got my gram in the mail.

This is where it all goes downhill. Me and my buddys split the gram each having a 200mg bomb as we don't sniff. Felt good while I was on it. Next day after I finally had got some sleep and awoken.

These are the problems I've been having every since when I tried it.
1. Ears ringing nonstop
2. Heart palpitations
3. Heart hasn't beaten the same since then its noticibly faster at around 85-90bpm resting, and me being a male it was 65-75bpm resting before trying it.
4. Shortness of breath, chest pains, coughing up dark brown fling,
5. Pain in the middle of my back, chest popping when I breathe in and out, can't take deep breaths as it feels somethings stuck in the middle of my chest
6. Brain feels like it doesn't work I can't really think I just go along with the flow of things, can't remember shit, clicking noise in back of head when I move it the slightest. Teeth clenching uncontrollably.
7. Weird vivid dreams from the time I fall asleep til I awake, also sleeping 9hrs or more feeling like I haven't slept much.
8. Fatigue, depression, headaches almost everyday in the back of my head.
9. Clay colored stools, associated with bloody stools, if I even make a bowel movement. Usually I used to go up to 2 time everyday no sometimes 2days without one.
10. Anxiety from hell, head shakes uncontrollably.
11. A time where I've been rushed to the ER everything goes blurry blood pressure was 165/93.
12. CAN'T SMOKE WEED ANYMORE, everysince then I've tried smoking maybe 3 times each time resulting in a 130+ heart bpm trip to the hospital, ears ringing real loud. Feeling as I was going to die. After being a smoker for years everyday all day.
13. Just look bad in general, I didn't even attend my grandfathers funeral afraid people would think I was a junkie or somethin. I just sit around the house hoping everyday I get better to no avail. I used to run the streets all day/night now to embarrased to leave the house
List goes on
All this since january, seriously suicidal. I've been back and forth to the ER, and drs. They can't find a single thng wrong with me. I just want to kill the dude who told me to try it. Am I going to get better everyday I think is my last. Any similar experiences? HELP me please.

I'm suppose to attend college in the fall, if I don't get better ill just say fuck it. Oh well can't go looking like this or feeling like this. Afterall my brain not functioning correctly anyhow. I was a really smart dude too. Anyway I'm new to the forum. Nice to meet all

Oh yeah, my buddys aren't having any problems after trying meph. Just my luck I guess

Welcome to Bluelight, mindgone.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. :(

Have a look around Healthy Living as there are numerous threads on the majority of your questions. If you cannot find your answer after searching thoroughly, feel free to make a new thread there.

Wish you the best of luck and hope to see you around HL as I feel some of the preexisting threads may prove beneficial. :)

Welcome to Bluelight mindgone :) We'll try this in The Dark Side forum which is focused on getting support when drugs or life have turned out to be less than good at the moment. Hope things improve a lot soon.

Make sure you eat a healthy diet. Chances are you will get better but it may take a while. Sorry I can't be of much more help than that.

sounds strange, never heard of anyone getting side effects like that from it before. or side effects that have lasted that long

I don't have any experience with mephedrone, but I do have experience with anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, and the like. So I'll try to advise what I can to help - no guarantees, but even the slightest change for the better is worth it.

First things first, you've got to make sure you're eating healthy. Take a daily dietary supplement/multivitamin, or focus on more specific things perhaps. Just keep your diet balanced and rich in nutrients.

Secondly, while I know it's hard to find the motivation, you've got to try and exercise. Get your body moving - take it slow at first, especially with your elevated resting heart rate, but fitter people have lower heart rates, so that should help there.

Thirdly, again - I know the motivation is hard to find for you right now, but try to get back to doing things you love. Hanging out with friends, taking walks around the neighborhood, you know...any of your hobbies. Especially talk to some friends - confide in a few who you can trust about what's going on. I'm sure they'd be glad to see you out and about again, no matter how you "look"...they'll know you're trying to get yourself healthy again and should be glad to hang out and do the things y'all used to do again. Being social will help with the depression, I think. Help you feel a bit less cut off from the world.

Otherwise, I have a couple of questions...you say you've been to the emergency room and have seen doctors... Have you been completely honest with them? Did you tell the doctors that this only started after you tried mephedrone? It can be a little difficult to tell them, but they are there to help you, and if you're in the US, they can't tell the authorities (or your parents since you're over 18). Have they done chest x-rays and things?

Perhaps consider talking to a psychiatrist/therapist since you're starting to have suicidal thoughts - they would also be able to help you with the anxiety and depression and help you find a solution or coping mechanisms for those.

Most importantly, though, don't give up. Possibly the biggest thing that will help is time, and you can believe that I know how difficult it is to wait to feel better from something like this, but it will get better. And you'll be happy you stuck through it when it does.

I've been completely honest and really it just made them sort of took me for a joke, really treated me like a junkie and sent me home. They've done chest xrays, catscan on my head, bloodwork, ekgs, to no avail. One dr even asked me had I done coke before I came in, through these last couple of months I've really found out drs don't care about you. Even my general physcian just smurked and said get a job stop sitting around being depressed. I was like fuck u your not in my shoes. Also I'm seeing a psychiatrist he has me on prozac, which I believe is making me more suicidal as I just feel I could just blow my brains out and not even care.

Oh goodness...I'm so sorry to hear that the doctors have been anything but helpful. That really ticks me off. Does your psychiatrist listen to you better? Perhaps he could recommend a better physician to check you out physically. And let him know that the suicidal thoughts are getting worse... If you're in the US, and you ever get a really bad urge to do something to yourself, remember that there are resources out there. You can call 1-800-SUICIDE and they'll listen/talk to you/whatever it takes for you to get out of that mindset.

I've called them before and they were really helpful... either way, though, if you feel the medication is making things worse, definitely talk to your psychiatrist as soon as possible. It's not unheard of for them to have those sorts of side effects, and there are other options, so maybe a different one would help more. Really, best of luck to you. Feel free to come on here and vent and update us as much as you want or need. BLers are great people and very helpful.

Just try to keep my other tips in mind about diet, exercise, and trying to get back to the old you. I know it's really hard right now, but don't give up and remember that things will improve. It's difficult to see that right now, but you will come out on the other side of this. :)

Don't mention it...I've been in your place before, though not for any known reason. There is also always the unfortunate possibility that it's not necessarily something to do with the drug that has affected you physically, but that you had the potential for mental imbalance already and that mephedrone did something to put that in motion.

I definitely feel keeping on with your psychiatrist is one of the most important things here. Just try to stay positive and keep making an effort to improve - you can't expect medication to do it all itself (not saying you are, just a warning; I've made the mistake before).

If you don't mind me asking, how is your family reacting to all of this? I hope they're being supportive to you. Having a network of support during difficult times like this is also an important key to overcoming it. No matter what, though, you've got us Bluelighters behind you!

The Prozac might be the reason why you look "bad." When I took Zoloft, which is a similar SSRI, my face became fat and pallid. It might also be responsible for the tinnitus (ringing in your ears), the lack of restful sleep (drugs like Prozac disrupt REM sleep), and many of your other symptoms.

Well, maybe it did just take my mental imbalance over the edge. But that wouldn't explain my other problems. Also yeah I'm going to keep seeing my psychiatrist. Well, my mother is worried but she tries to hide it. But the rest of my family is trying to figure out what's wrong with me hence them hearing I've been to the dr over 10 times since jan. But supportive nontheless. And thanks I need all the support I can get.

Well to be honest, I've only been on the prozac for about 3 weeks. And I've been like this since jan. Only reason I'm on it because of all the depression this has caused. So to sum it up I was already "like this" before prozac I only tried it to help. Hell ill try anything at this point. I'm just tired it feels like I'm on a cloud and just want to come down

Bump, did anyone else go through this and how did you get back to normal and am I going to get back normal

Mental conditions can often have physical side effects, so if it did set off something in your brain - then all of the symptoms can match up. Is it a general physician that you're going to see, or a psychologist? If you haven't seen one yet, I definitely suggest the latter.

If they couldn't find anything with your body, you should be fine mate. Your condition sounds like panic disorder, then again i might just be making it up. Given your tender age your drug history sounds a little.. Too much :P

I have had similar problems back in the day which i treated by exercise! I used to get 120 bpm when i smoked a friggin ciggy! Any sudden movement would give me a short breath and it would take 10 min before i breathed normally. When i was trying to sleep, noises from outside, especially yells would scare me and again bpm raises to 120-130.

But i never saw a shrink or doctor, except ERs on 6-7 different occasions :P Then i decided to start exercise regularly. And got myself a box of Xanax only to be used if i sensed a panic attack. Oh man even having the box in the drawer gives a confidence boost!

I also threw a SSRI in the mix as any sensible shrink would. Cipralex worked wonders for me combined with Xanax which i used in emergencies. With a healthy diet and hard core training, i was a completely new person.

I suggest you lay off the drugs and do the same. Good luck.
