I'm entering my 3rd year at UCF in a few weeks. My freshman year was so crazy, there's always something going on. House and apartment parties, bars and clubs. Are you living in the dorms or off campus? I lived in the dorms for my first year, and that helped me meet tons of people since I'm an out of stater who didn't know anyone at first.

have you ever had any run ins with the UCF cops? they are DOUCHEBAGS. it is a well known fact that they try to be hardasses because they have never been real cops so they think frat guys sneaking beer into a football game or some freshmen kids smoking weed are serious crimes. they have been known for giving out tickets for playing your stereo too loud, having tint that is 1% darker than legal, and jaywalking. yes, I'm serious, jaywalking. and don't even get me started on this speed trap they always set around Pegasus Landing...

I think I'm gonna hit the dorms at first even tho I'll be a junior, just to get connected and hook-up with people at first. I'm pretty stoked though, I heard it's got the most abundance of Heroin and LSD for the state...don't know if it's true or not but that's what a few heads have been telling me. I'll have to PM you once I get up there
 
I live in Broward and starting to hate the fact that so many people don't
speak any English. Plus the heat & humidity at this time of year is awful!

my boyfriend has connects for acid and we've never gotten fake hits but he's lived in Winter Park all his life so he knows his way around. shrooms aren't that hard to get but I had a bad trip the last time I took them so I'm scared to do them again. we have one good dope connect; its pretty hard to get good dope if you are a white kid who isn't from the hood. roxies are plentiful though. There's even a Roxy night club lol.

weed is so easy to get, UCF has the largest NORML chapter of any college so you know there are a lot of stoners...and boring kids turned stoners in their first year

You have to train yourself to love the heat. I go for runs at 2pm when it's over 90 degrees cuz I work 2nd shift and I like the smooth haze I feel all over my body after running 5 km in the sun: the very natural high lasts like 5 hours after the run and I'm usually good till my head hits my pillow.

Sometimes I skip the run and just shoot dope. Works pretty well too.
 
I got arrested at Lake Claire Dorms my first year there for coke (under a fucking gram). Really, it was just a leftover bag from a party two nights earlier, and when my asshole nerdy roomates smelled burning plants coming from my room (their words), they decided to narc. I ended up getting out of the charges completely because a friends' dad is a lawyer and hooked it up for free. The cops were total dicks though. Nothing but a bunch of power-hungry losers looking to ruin someones day.
 
^ that sucks, I lived in Libra my first year which aren't the nicest or biggest dorms but my 3 roommates all smoked and were fine with drugs (I had one roommate that I shared my room with, and 2 roommates in the room next to us that shared our bathroom). We would smoke in our rooms even though we were the closest to the RA. One time I had a joint and smoked it with my roommate in the next room, and we had a Pod Meeting (meeting for all the girls on our floor) and the whole living area smelled like weed. our RA got really pissed but couldn't tell where it was coming from since the whole living area stunk. it was so funny.

by the way..there are never any cops down here...and when they are they are very cool. Low crime area. funny fact - Carrot Top rides a baby blue vespa around park ave with no shirt on, while flexing in the reflection of the shop windows. he is such a tool.

Doc Rivers the Coach of the Boston celtics hangs out down here and is way cool...

Austins is definitely one of the chiller places in the area. I actually used to go to school with Austin rivers when I was younger... nice family
 
I was looking to get enrolled in Full Sail in Winter Park.
What do the locals have to say about the school?
