Yeah, avatars sort of lost their appeal for me... I liked them on the occasions i have had them and thought they were highly enjoyable. But as i started to hear of multiple batches all with different reports and what seems to be a now unreliable source i am unsure.
 
I've heard of them changing but not going down, the dose change thing is the third batch which is just stronger than the rest. They've been getting stronger as opposed to weaker. But who knows? They've been about a while anyway.

What's your experience with the avatars like? Still worth a punt.?
 
Am i right in hearing they changed the print to a male character? It has most likely already been covered... i haven't really looked back though the thread though.

By the three batch changes do you mean, female character then they changed it to the border and now it is the male character. I could have this wrong.. but i only ever sampled from the first batch.
 
how are the shivas? got the yellow border tabs, never had cid so what to expect is anyones guess..

The first batch is the weakest batch, so basically any avatars you get from now wont be any worse.

The second batch has a yellow border

The third batch has brown splodges on the back because supposedly something fucked up with the chemist dosing - although I've no idea whether that's true.

I've been eating the yellow border ones the past few weeks and they have been fine.
 
Well that is a reassuring fact, as at the time of the first batch i was happy with their potency.

and breakcorefiend, your first experience will be amazing! colorful, vibrant. sit down and have things ready to pass up your time, videos, music etc.. Although i bet you wont be able to take your eyes off what you are seeing haha!

Benzos could be handy too, just if the trip is starting to drag out and sleep isn't quite happening.
But i bet you wont be wanting it to end! i know i didn't =D
 
well that does sound rather fun, im thinking of skinning many a spliff, loading like 6 glass bong bowls so i can easily change, what bout nos? good i dea or not? also got benzos so the trip ender isnt a worry :)
 
Weed is amazing on acid! Usually I get quite high just after i drop, as you have up to an hour waiting for the effects and it passes the time rather than sitting in anticipation :) Just wait until you first notice you are tripping, or you notice the others around you are... the reaction on peoples faces is priceless! its something you will never forget :)

With any luck I'll be doing my best impression of that face soon :D

If, I can manage to find some LSD somewhere that is.
 
Actually considering changing my ways and once I eat the rest of these Avatars go pickup some Mayans. Anyone able to comment on them a little more? Only worrying thing is they are the same print from last year, so potency loss might be an issue but if they are the same batch the last ones were strong and claimed to be a similar dosage.
 
Just found out the Fat Freddys Cats are loooovely - and I can get Hoffman's with Alex Gray printed on the back, and also Shiva's have come around to me finally...I can't WAIT to try those - Om namah Shivayaaaaaa
 
If it's the Hofmanns as of late, then you're in for one amazing trip! As far as I know they come from the Netherlands - but who knows since the print is used so much.
 
I know this is sailing close to the wind for my first post, but getting desperate now..
I'm not sourcing, but I've lost my contacts for acid, and I was wondering what type of places one would need to go to find some..
I'm getting older, and most of my pals have settled down - guess I should be too :\
I'm in Ireland if it matters, but I've no way of finding where the private parties / forest events are going on, where I've gotten acid before...
Was thinking maybe the Psy scene, but I'm not sure if the regular club-type events might be the best places to go wandering about asking random punters what's happening - especially as I'm a relatively straight looking bloke - surely it would scream DS
Anyway any general advice would be welcome :)
 
i cant be arsed trawling throught the thread but are the new shivas good? got the yellow bordered ones?

i'm getting a sheet of the mayan calendars. for a while all i've had available to me was the alex grey ganesha tabs, the shivas and hofmanns. all from that same lab with the weird perfume smell and the weird taste - some people are starting to speculate that they aren't LSD based on that non-lsd ergoloid thread. i found the alex grey ganeshas to be really strong in my limited LSD experience, but several friends that i gave them to reported weird stuff with them.

person 1 and 2: best acid they've had (but again, limited experience)
person 3: didn't feel much at all
person 4: didn't feel much (though he's a known hard-head to psychedelics, and he threw up after sucking on the tab for a while because he was hung-over)
person 5: "average"
person 6: reported a strange tolerance build up. at first 1 tab caused him to trip quite hard, similar to my experience. second attempt with same dose yielded almost no effects. later attempts with higher doses led to nice effects, but on even later attempts it started taking longer to come on. in his current state, 2 hits takes almost 2 hours to register effects, which are only moderate. all these trips were far enough apart that physiological tolerance was not a factor. a very strange case indeed, never heard of anything like it.

is it possible the sheet was laid unevenly or something? i haven't heard anybody else mention this. i only personally tried one of them so i can't comment much beyond the feedback i got.

in any event, i'm excited for these mayans. it'll be nice to try something outside of that one lab's sheets. from what i've been hearing these are indeed legitimate LSD and they are dosed quite high and its very clean crystal. but then again, that's just what i've been hearing. if anybody cares to comment on them further please do, otherwise i'll be posting a quality report when i get my hands on them.
