Hi All,
I'm very serious about this post, having had a continuation of insight tonight, and ask everyone to consider it. It's very bleak. Man may be running in the opposite direction, full speed. These thoughts have been gathering speed lately. I sense deep and unplumbed possibilities in these concepts.
All the human fantasies, dreams, hopes, etc. are falsehoods that have always led man away from the truth.
All of the dreads, fears and escapes man has attempted are indicators that lead toward the light.
The mind/psyche is the resistance. It's backwards -- a 180 degree reversal of reality. I figure this to be true because every psyche is taught by others -- and had by self. This is what reverses it. We're all taught by what we see straight out of our eyes, what's out in the world, which are others. Every one of us have been taught by others.
And all of us are a self taught by them.
Also -- I believe self and other are reversed.
We're actually others, although this doesn't change anything, in fact makes more sense. The ego never fit. Everything is still one, etc. Except we are all others to each other. *everything* is other to everything else, which means all is one.
The ego is what would happen if you turned the 180 degree reversal inside out.
A single self. The universe, inside out.
And I believe that the universe may be inside out.
I believe we may be on the inside, looking out. But don't have a clue what that would mean.
We all are each other, and mirroring each other. *** DISTRUST THE MAN IN THE MIRROR I believe that the mirror may be the only thing that *doesn't* accurately reflect. ***
This is why the harder we try to achieve, the more we fail. We're running in the direction of complexity, away from the truth.
Sometimes I wonder if what we perceive through our senses is also very different than what we think. There's nobody to ask that isn't in the same boat, and no way to know what the situation is for them -- we can't get out of our own. But it's fascinating.
As for the reversal -
Pretty much every dualistic pole is each other. This isn't a concern to change or seek, except to show that man has been running away. Would be happy to dream up explanation for any, if curious.
Desire: fear (should be feared) Fear = desire (desirable)
Success: Failure Failure: Success
Gain: Loss Loss: Gain
Self: Other (the seen) Other: Self (being seen by others
The fact that every dualistic pole is each other means that if every one of them were reversed..
A singular reality or self.
It falls together perfectly and turns out fine in the end. For example, once the nature of desire and want is clear, one has nothing to seek in the future and doesn't need one. Every search must fail, because at the achievement, desire fails.
Not to mention, it's the search for meaning that causes meaninglessness, the search for hope hopelessness, the search for help helplessness, etc. Those ones are search based. End all search and both hope and hopelessness dissolve. Both meaning and meaninglessness dissolve.
Leaving life utterly dynamic, so present-based that one consciously is every perception and sensation as it happens.
