Sudden increase in lung capacity

I know this sounds like a strange title... I'm really at a loss as to how to search for this issue though.

I noticed awhile back that I had somewhat of a slouched posture and have been working on fixing it. As my body has changed, I've figured out correct posture that focuses on the muscles directly under the navel for support. As I adopt this correct posture, I am noticing that the right side of my body under the rib cage has been compressed a bit, and standing correctly increases the area under the ribcage a decent amount, actually giving me a stretch mark that exactly traces along my lower rib on this side.

What it seems like is that this right lung has increased in capacity a bit. It is not just the fact that the area under the ribcage has obviously increased on the one side; Sometimes when focusing on this correct posture, I also get crazy tinnitus and a lightheaded feeling that feels exactly like if I were to breathe hard without exercise. My concern with all of this is that I can't really research precautions that I need to be taking while altering my body so drastically. It feels like it is a positive change happening to my body, but the lightheadedness is a bit unnerving at times (alright, it was really unnerving the first time I experienced it...) I'd like it if someone with a better understanding of this sort of thing could comment as searching on this topic seems to be futile.

Thanks for any help...

:p I think I've figured it out, I just needed 24 hours alone with the internet...

^I said that in my first post...

I just read a lot about posture changing affecting breathing and saw that problems mainly come from a sudden decrease in oxygen. What I am doing is actually allowing my lungs to move freely and breathe better, and what I was experiencing was not a dangerous sensation it seems. In any event, it has subsided a bit over the past few days. I wasn't too concerned as I knew what I was doing to my body before it happened, but the symptoms were a little strange to experience.

My first post really explains the science behind the change. All I discovered in the follow-up post was that my symptoms were probably not worrisome.
