My old cub scout leader turned out to be a paedo, I'm pretty sure he never bashed my back doors in though, I'm not sure wether to feel relief or be a bit insulted.

My housemate and her friend are camped out in the kitchen, listening to Spanish music and bellowing in Spanish. Might not sound all that bad, but they'll be there all day. If anyone attempts to use the kitchen then they'll seemingly do their best to get in the way. It's a fucking pain, let me tell you. My room's next to the kitchen too.

Solution? Play some Swans and sing along. They went silent for a while. Guess they weren't prepared for a bass-baritone voice emerging from a bag of bones of average height at best. Next? GG Allin...

Snap, mine too, he never went that far but he took an unwholesome interest in me. Unpleasant but 1) it's nowhere NEAR even a fraction of a smidgen of what a lot of people go through and 2) I got over it apart from a lingering desire to punch him dead in the fucking melon if I ever see him again, and I've never punched anyone. Actually I'd better not think about that as it makes me extremely angry.
 
I used to get chocolate on my paper round from a single guy who would always stop me for a chat. I'm sure he cast multiple votes in order for me to become Manchester Evening News 'Newscarrier of the Month' (Feb 1993). Still my crowning glory. The award, not the chocolate.

It's not the mdma, it's being bored as fuck and that dude.

You'd still feel the ennui even if you didnt cane it a few days ago.

Out of interest, if you're supposed to give your work say a weeks notice and then you don't and just don't go back one Monday morning can they dock you the previous weeks wage because you broke the contact?

My work seemed to be hinting at that day but it doesn't seem like it would be legal.
 
It sounds like it could be legal today, I didn't complete the week's induction at one job (call centre selling overpriced hearing aids to deaf old people) so didn't get paid a penny for the work I'd done. If its in your contract I imagine they can...
