I have struggled with drug and alcohol use for many years, and entered a rehab in Queensland about 3 1/2 months ago. Have been clean all that time but was notified about a week ago that I returned a positive to opiates on an immunoassay urine drug screen.
The initial (and unreliable) immunoassay test was followed with a Gas Chromotography/Mass Spectometry test, which I had to pay $190 for.
QML have stated two very different stories, one that the GC/MS returned a negative reading, and the other that I had a positive to an unknown opioid substance.
All this, despite the fact that I take 50mg naltrexone every day, so an opiate would obviously not work, except in very high and dangerous doses.
The rehab has accused me of taking pholcodine (why would anyone bother), or dextromethorphan (I hate the shit, plus it wouldn't mix well with the 200mg sertraline (Zoloft) I take daily).
It's a case of guilty until proven innocent here, and I need some proof. Would anyone be able to provide some helpful advice?
