Anybody tried apocalypto blotters?
Mate can get some but kids assured him they're very good and that often isn't a good sign.

I got that taste from the gsnesh to butwas still a really good trip dnt no if u get it with all trips though
People always try and guess the ug content of LSD blotters, i.e. 150 ug etc...
When they do so they generally seem to rate the Buddhas 10 or 20 ug below say the Ganeshas or the Avators. For me the differences are too close to call and could easily be down to set and setting.
With regards to the taste, if your sourcing blotters within Europe that taste is often there. The only tasteless tabs I've had were White on White blotter from California, which did feel "cleaner" if I'm totally honest, but not necessarily stronger.

I think something needs to be cleared up. The metallic taste and the taste on the Ganeshas are different things. The Ganeshas do not taste like metallic, they taste like someone has lined it with hairspray. It's from the ink in the blotter and it's sickening. I found it okay at the start, but when I started eating 4+ of the things at once regularly it just ended up making me feel sick.
I used to leave tabs in my mouth, but as a result of this just swallow them straight away, otherwise the intense rapid comeup was made rough thanks to nausea.
There is sometimes that odd metallic taste with blotters, but I don't find it that noticeable, kinda like something I have to look for. The ganesha one is an instant taste, people who weren't too well researched used to claim 'you can taste the acid on them'. Those Twin blotters from a while back had them too.
I always take this with a pinch of salt, I like knowing rough doses though as it puts things in scale.

i tried acid a few times now and i still find it underwhelming, the most i had in one go is 2 and a half avatars , it was good but nothing amazing i didn't see things melt etc just colourful paterns breathing walls etc but i had friends who tried the same stuff gave amazing trips. i'm thinking of trying some amt with 2 avatars see if it makes it anymore intense
I'd suggest upping the acid dose. It reality the actual strength of the blotters we buy could be well below the strength that we think they are.
In a comfortable environment I've taken up to ten blotters before and it was like walking through bubbles of colour and when I shut my eyes my eyes would merge together and I would drift through warping tunnels using my "third eye". I've still got a lot further to go with acid myself, but I'm not afraid to up the dosage if I feel I could handle it OK.

Deano do you take any medications? I'm surprised, even one avatar would've hit me more than that. I could understand by you being underwhelmed on your first few times - I was too, but two + 1/2 Avatars, even if they aren't the dose as described, would be a fairly interesting trip after only tripping a few times. Was the tabs your friends tried from the same person/bought at the same time?

i've had 5 0r 6 tabs of avatars over a night but not in one go and it was after a night raving so iwas just chasing the buzz but 2 and a half is most dropped at once, i might go for 4 next time
no i dont take any medication, dont get me wrong i had a good trip but i just wanted more to happen i saw cool colourful puprple paterns on the ceiling but nothing that really made me think wow this is amazing. maybe its because everytime i done acid has been with my mates i might try it on my own next time. i got a very strong mind and don't really freak out on drugs i was never nervous about taking acid i think subconsciously i was trying to fight it cuz i'm around other people.

Definitely try a solo trip. This might be your problem with the visual side of things, I find with acid to really get the most out of visuals it takes a little time and staring, as opposed to the visuals being really in your face out of nowhere. Talking really makes you forget about the trip, if I'm ever feeling uneasy talking solves the problem, it really stops the visuals apart from the common ones in my opinion. If not a solo trip, try sticking on a bit of music and staring at a wall for a while, those are the times I get my best visuals, try closing your eyes too, you'll see some crazy patterns/colours/objects/etc. You seem to be able to fairly hack your acid though so maybe a stronger dose is what you need!

Try listening to some music, looking at trippy art / designs and let your imagination do what it does best. Personally i love sitting with a bit of music on, have a toke then just sit and enjoy some trippy closed eye visuals then when i open my eyes the room is colorful and full of life!
Maybe acid isn't your thing like specialK said, but there are plenty of other chemicals to go with in that case
But id still give acid a chance! Maybe who you are with and where you are is affecting the trip in which case you can easily rectify the situation

Did you experience anything else? Like amazing headspace/feeling as light as a feather? Like you had the answer to any question locked up in the inside of your mind.
Tbh I never really experienced any noteworthy visuals until my 8/9th trip.

my 1st experience with Lsd gave me absolutly crazy visuals 2 drops on some fruit pastles.

I used to get that on acid at the same stage as you mention, then one day many moons ago it just stopped happening, the taste was located on the roof of my mouth just where the hard bit meets the soft if you know where I mean ?

the avatars dont have nearly any taste compared to the ganesha, those trips r really bitter, have read its the groups signature for their blotter, eg. ganesha, buddahs/shivas, twins
