I don't actually have a camera as it's just something I'd forget to use or more likely, use. But there'll be plenty going around and up on fb no doubt :p

Is the Doof Research Group out there??

Hello!
A few years back I'd heard of and met some people from a group called DRG (Doof Research Group), with a mission statement of documenting & researching the affects of psytrance/doof/goa (binaural beats?) combined with UV & geometric images and the use of geodesic(?) domes on human consciousness.
I believe they were based in South Australia.

I'm curious about the group; how serious it is and what sort of research they undertook, and what results.

If anyone knows how to contact them, I'd much appreciate it.

We had such an amazing weekend!! My god, what a shame that was the last Somatica!! It was fricken awesome. I can't thank the Somatica crew enough for putting on such an amazing doof which had such an amazing vibe! The music was superb (apart from the hip hop on the Sat night, wasn't my cuppa tea really) the decor was excellent and the people were fantastic!!

Ahhh.... top top crew i really hope they put on other events on in the future.

I feel very privileged to have met some of the most amazing and genuine people over the weekend. It was so refreshing....

Some of them i can honestly say will remain good friends for life now.

Wicked weekend, bring on Royal! :D

Oh and i can't forget to mentioned how sensational the weather was... we were truly spoiled by mother nature this time! Shining sun, with a lovely breeze and it wasn't too hot or too cold (at night it was pretty damn cold though) but during the day, it really was the ideal doofing weather.

They seriously had awesome decor at Somatica. Some of the best i have seen!

Had a great time at Somatica!! Sound system was brilliant, some amazing music on the sunday afternoon had me stomping nonstop for the whole of the daytime, lots of friendly happy people, well organized and had no issues the whole weekend :)

And my mate bringing along the blow up couch just made the dancefloor even more enjoyable to hang around!

And +1 for decor!!! Looked so damn good!!!!
 
As always, I didn't take any of the pics I posted...I "appropriated" them from a bunch of friends...maybe even some from you, Neo...
