The oxblood cap toes are 14-eye Docs.

The black 18-eye, steel cap-toes in the first ruins pic are Underground UKs....
the Docs are far more comfy, but the Undergrounds had screwed soles, which let me put hobnails on them..... those, and the extra calf/ankle/knee support made them excellent mountain boots.

Hey anyone know or heard from Carl? I'm wondering if he's still clean?

That kid was stuck for a realllll long time so when I saw him get clean all by himself I began to stalk him like a hawk. Carl where are you?

Ix, fucking killer, man!!!!!!! Ahhh the days of traditional docs. They can only be found online or used nowadays. My next pair will be these Solovairs:

av, I get the impression that you can move QUICK! You have the body type of someone who can FLY through the woods, no trails... no problem!

I used to have 20 eye(knee high) black Doc's when I was a whipper snapper, I loved them.
Although my favourite were these bright red coloured Doc's with a lizard scale print embossed on them, looked on the net but cant find a pic of them. :( They were this colour with the embossing being a litlle like this. The Boot pic doesnt do them justice though, they were chunkier and also had brighter blood-orange, red flecks inside the scales. Cant believe they dont seem to make them anymore. Poo.
After those I had my New Rocks.
Now im older too and boring. lol :p ;)

Thank krist we have the oppertunity to inch out of the bad choices of youth! I mean that sincerely.


Doc's have gotten very tame, especially the one's for females, compared to the 90's. Really thought the U.S. websites would have a more diverse selection, strange. You can get your bloody eye-ball pierced but they dont have my old boot's Grrr...they were cool.

You are spot on N30, tis a victorian term(I think, maybe older) Fans and smelling salts were synonomous with swooning and fainting. (However it usually had to do with overly tight corsets; think some of the Victorian men used the fainting of women to fuel their ego, although the fact that the sight of an ankle was erotic at that time lends alot of scope as to how both sexes were probably left to the imaginations far too much for healthy comfort!)

Why isn't 'swoon' properly accounted for in Wikipedia-I am feeling very old now.

Totally under-represented. Bring back the swoon..... I'm down for corsets and the glimpse of ankle or wrist-skin too.
