Do you recall the TV commercials for taking road trips in Australia? Where you were supposed to stop at those designated road stops every hour.

Are we there yet?
No Gavin.
Are we there yet?
No Gavin.

No Gavin.
Blah blah blah take a break to prevent accidents blah blah blah go to designated rest areas
Are we there yet?
Yes Gavin!

haha your name reminds me of those. Like back around the millenium or so? It might have been when I was in New Zealand I can't recall but doubt the kiwis have as much of a problem with long driving distances.

Haha you're right they were koalas.

Ummm I've been down there twice though. Back in 2000 I was in my mid teens and spent a weekend in Sydney with the fam but 2 weeks with family friends in New Zealand was the main point of the trip. Then I went after uni a few years back and spent a month in just Australia. Flew into Melbourne and traveled all the way up to Cairns along the coast. Well through waggawagga and canberra at first. Good times all round :)

good old surfers

yep that sounds like surfers paradise..would spend 4-5nights there a week when i could back up big night after big night.getting old now, takes 3 days to come good.guess the quality of pills has changed alot.bumbury ay? Reminds me oe a rodney rude stand up comedy joke.pending how old u are whether u know that one.cheers for the welcome mate

cheers swerlz and oxy for ur hospitality.the bumbary joke is from am ozy comedian that takes the piss out of that town.ill have to ease up on the ozy lingo or ill spend more time explaining what they mean than getting informed and sharring past experiences.where abouts u all from? What interests u have? Prefered choice of poisons

Well Kratom is my drug of choice (illegal in your neck of the woods I know) and I will take other mild opiates as them come (I'll take the strong ones too but in less amounts and since codeine is legal in Canada as well it's easier than risking my freedom). About once a month or so (more in the summer) I dabble in the psychedelics mainly 2c-c and LSA though I've tried the rest of the 2cs, lucy and used to use mescaline fairly often. The others each have their downside and it's usually length of heavy-fucked-up-ed-ness. Ho hummm drink and smoke weed casually in social settings and that's about it.

My interests lie academically and professionally in engineering and design, while outside of work I like to stay active by running, swimming and biking (thinking of training for a full triathalon sometime this summer). I'm a city kid with a flair for the urban high class lifestyle but am not above heading into the woods for week long camping trips etc.

As for Bluelight I empathize with people who suffer from the very common condition of addiction, as well as those (especially the younger generation) who feel the need to escape from their life through drug use. The lack of information, resources, and help available to this large part of society is appalling and the strength and power of some of these drugs is quite frightening. So I volunteer my time to make sure people who are looking for any kind of assistance in harm reduction get it without judgment.

ur a good example of 1-what this website truly has to offer and what it stands for..and 2-showing people, both the drug fueled youth and the tunnle visioned individuals in society that a balance can b achieved between a profesional life and one that dabbles in the finer things that life has to offer.NOT TO BLOW SMOKE UP YOUR ARS ,but u seem to have things sorted quite well in life.luckily being from canadia you have had the opportunity to make this happen. I myself have had a few monkeys on my back.i seem to go from swapping one addiction for another, yet stilk am a fully functioning member of society.im a composites eng/ technician working in aerospace as well as race cars( fancy way of saying i make shit from carbon fibre) ive had a daily weed addiction from 14 to the age of 24.mixed w heavy mdma and amphet use,i finaly gave up.in the next couple years that followed,i got mixed up with OMC gangs and with quite a bit of charlie passing thru my greedy little fingers i developed a 2500 a week habit.having left that life behind i now only dabble in amphets, which has started to become an issue once again- i was away at school the day they learnt the word moderation- sn thats my life in a nutshell,or a clip seal bag should i say.nonethe less i am happy with who i am and what ive made of life, and if i was to die today i could honestly say i got my moneys worth...if i can get the monkey of my back and walk him on a leash next to me things would work quite well.
