Dosing LSD Late Night?

Do you ever take acid fairly late at night? Im going to dinner at my parents tonight and am thinking of taking a couple doses when i get home around 9:30 tonight. I have tomorrow off, so thats not much of a concern. Just never started my trip that late at night? Still on the fence as to if I want to do it. What have you experiences been with starting your trip later at night.

Uhm, it's pretty much exactly the same except you're tripping at night? I mean, unless you have never tripped at night before, you know what to expect.
 
I've tripped starting at 7 PM before. You're probably just gonna get exhausted at some point after midnight but not be able to fall asleep until 10-12+ hours after dosing. I like dosing a bit later on in the day (late afternoon/early evening) so my trip is going strong around sunset, but dosing really late on a psychedelic that lasts that long is no bueno.

Exhausted? I doubt it. Most of my trips have been mostly during the dark hours of the day. It's fun, but not really as fun as tripping out in the sunshine on a warm day.

"Some point after midnight" doesn't mean an hour or so, it just means some point. I left it vague because I'm not gonna be able to predict exactly when he'll start crashing. You also gotta factor in how long he's already been awake.
 
If you have the next day off, why not just take then?

Assuming you're already busy that day though, tripping at night can definitely be fun. One of the only negatives I've found is you can't really take a walk around the neighborhood at 2 in the morning without looking super sketchy. That might not be applicable to you, but I personally like being able to walk around a bit.

Yeah but that's the best. wandering around at 3:19 in the morning, wooking out. haha

but yeah, in some areas cops will "pull you over" if you are out late (uptight residential areas), but not in cities. so you are right about warning him that what is actually a normal thing, is not normal to police somehow.

Sometimes watching the sunrise while coming down off psyches and entactogens can be a little sketchy. It can be very beautiful, but you can also start getting those "what am I doing with my life awake all alone cracked out on drugs watching the sun rise" vibes. This is more typical with entactogen comedowns though.

It's those negative introspective mind fucks that have gotten me in the past. Still, I end up watching the sunrise after damn near every roll or trip I take and they usually turn out great. DMT and a sunrise is pure magic.
