StaySedated, I don't think I've ever tried that combination, although beer and benzos (in the form of alprazolam, clonazepam or diazepam, naturally) go quite well with acid.

Of course acid has that strange side effect of causing you to drink all your beer/take all your benzos and not feel drunk at all. Beer also tastes like aluminum, or copper or something metallic. Not that this is a bad thing.

I've had awful experiences at the dentists office with nitrous. It tends to make me lose my vision, where everything just conglomerates into a big, pulsating gray mass. Freaked me the fuck out when I was young!!

^It freaked me out when I was a kid as well, mainly because they just give it to you without explaining what it is/what its going to do...and AFAIK, StaySedated is still dusted out of his head...I don't think he's online anymore though.

Really? I used to be heaaaavily into DXM when I was much younger, until I found ketamine. DXM provided me with OOBE's like nothing else has ever been able to recreate. K-holing to me feels like I sort of systematically power down and slip out of reality. DXM (3rd & 4th plateau) feels like something just lifts my consciousness out of my body and about 3 feet above my head. If I could get cheap powder I'd probably still be really into it, actually.

I feel that ketamine is much cleaner as well. I know the feeling of being 3 feet above my head, I like it. That tells me that the ketamine is starting to kick in. With DXM I would still be able to walk around while ketamine no way. When I get stuck in a K-Hole I'm lifted out of reality and don't even know that my body exists.
