Definitely an interesting individual, some of his "theories" (stoned ape theory?) are a little far out, but in general I do agree with him that modern late stage capitalism is about as intellectually meaningful as a kinder-garden argument.

That's so true, there is just something about his voices that makes you feel that you are streamlining your existence for the flight into hyperspace. I guess that's why Shpongle used to sample him a lot. :)
 
Just what i was looking for, have just started getting a lot more into these kinds of styles. This thread should keep me busy for a while :D
 
Space Night is a latenight TV series on public TV in Germany. For many years it usually showed images of earth from space, astronauts and shuttles while playing ambient music. Today they play less ambient, but all the old episodes are available on youtube. It's great to watch while coming down from acid. And it reminds you from which planet you started the trip, in case you forgot.
