Dissociative talk? Don't mind if I do, panned on having some tonight anyway, since I had two dollars to spend today (and that buys 720mg DXM). Not taking it for another half-hour to hour from now.

Oh yeah, interview thing...no job for me as it turns out. Which doesn't bother me one bit, since I've found that I like getting up in the morning, and third shift work is kind of lame, plus my contingency plans are pretty decent. Might have to sleep in my car for a lil' while until I can get my emergency moneys out of some mutual fund thing. I'll log on when I can, but I may only be here infrequently during the month of March.

I don't deserve anyone's respect, it's not like I'm bravely dealing with circumstances beyond my control, I really only have myself to blame. It's just these past couple of years I've made a lot of bad decisions (the fact that my entire life I've dealt with stress by avoidance may have something to do with it, as well as my tendency to go on semi-delusional intellectual tangents for months on end and neglecting reality).

It's not all bad though, I've found some solace in the fact I no longer have to worry about this happening, since it now has. Now my biggest decision (barring some unexpected and fortuitous events in the interim) is going to be whether to use my emergency money to finance a motel down in San Diego (I wouldn't mind moving there, it's my favorite city in California) for a month, and try to find any kind of work there no matter how shitty and demeaning, or go do that east coast past-reliving thing and be out of money in a week.The second one is more emotionally appealing (ever since I left there the first time, two years ago, everything has been dreamlike, I feel like if I go back I might wake up, even if I can't go back to the way things were). The first option is obviously the smarter one, and has some appeal to it (especially weather wise), but it's not grabbing out at me so much.

I wish you luck, but know, whether or not you succeed you still get to live. Don't forget to enjoy the little things and not become a solipsistic recluse. Hmmm, syrup drinking time~, and I gotta get blazed of course, can't do dissociatives without that! Man, I've been talking all depressing too much, I might ruin the good mood I've been in all day, can't do that.

Been reading your posts for a while back and you seem to be very hard on yourself. Try not to beat yourself up if you relapse as then it becomes a downward spiral which you can only fail at.
I wish you all the luck in the world that you find the positivity to feel good about yourself.<3

Except when things really aren't going your way, you break another bolt and then huck a 15/16" wrench right through the sheet metal wall of the shed. ;)

Had to laugh at that one; I stay away from the Ontario Provincial Police whenever I can. ;)

So I bought a cheap old truck last week and I've been working on that for the time being. It's going to be hauling a camper this summer :)

In other news; I had an old college friend over this weekend and..... I got Laid! =D :D <3

Fuck yeah Dave!!! =D<3

My cars a 2000 sunfire, 2.4L DOHC, turned out the problem was just the thermostat and coolant tank :D, and yeah I couldn't do that shit myself, my dad helps me :)

oh and for the record Sunfires are like one of my least favorite cars, but it fuckin' peels compared to my Neon =D

HA! Now there's something we have in common; my main ride is a 2000 cavalier!

Mine's just the 2.2 OHV (pushrod) though. Reliable as all hell and easy on gas. With the 5-speed it does what I need it to do, it's not a boring slow car. :)

The truck I just got is a new breed of vehicle for me. It's a 5.7L V8 (old fashioned 350 Chevy); rear wheel drive, 5-speed. All the weight of front, not much weight in back with an empty bed and lots of stump pulling torque; it fishtails like a dream. Snowy corners are my new playground, oh and U-turns have become far quicker to execute :D

Only thing is; it's a gas guzzler, but it can haul stuff. The cavalier will always be my daily driver; this thing doesn't even get 20 mpg.

Working on your own vehicles opens up a whole new world of thought and fun things to do. It's good you have your dad to show you stuff. My dad was never really into mechanical things besides the very basic, but the males on my mom's side of the family are a line of master mechanics which I luckily seem to have gotten it from. When I became a teenager I all of a sudden started trying to fix stuff and then started succeeding at fixing stuff and then just dove into it.

It's a great hobby; good way to spend a high saturday afternoon. It also saves a lot of money plus the convenience of not having to take something to a shop and wait or leave it there.

Oh, btw, kratom of one of my favorite things to take on a day of fixin'. It just feels so good while doing that kind of stuff. :)
