playing pokemon on acid?

ok so i might take a couple tabs of acid saturday night by myself. i normally watch a movie or listen to music when i fry alone, but im thinking it might be fun to play a pokemon gameboy game? im 18 years old, so im pretty much from the "pokemon" generation i guess. i feel like in some ways LSD gives you thoughts and ideas as if you were a child, so i feel like it might be insane as fuck to play pokemon frying. im not a big video game person, but i used to love those games. what do you guys think?
 
Give it a go. Next time I'm tripping I really want to play some FFX. I love that game more than words can describe.

And at the risk of sounding like a douche, I find it very distasteful to call tripping on LSD "frying". I've always felt the experience to be so clean, crisp, and pure-- I could never describe it like that.

you might become more interested in the physical appearance of your gameboy more than the mental workings of the game itself, depending on the dose.

personally i might think that levelling up or experience grinding would get old and repetitive quickly, but a boss battle (elite four!) could have the potential to be epic winfullness.

EDIT: and the songs... oh the glorious 8-bit symphony!
 
Pokemon is such a complex and intricate system. I love the series so much
 
A few months ago, I played Pokemon for the first time in what, 6 years?

It was fucking amazing. Wasn't high or anything. It's just that Pokemon brings back so many good memories. I played till the battery died :D
 
If you can get the cartridge to actually work , then ya I imagine it would be sweet. I'm 20 , right there with you during the golden age of ...me as Ash. hah

But I recently tried playing / saving my old red version and it won't let me save and shuts off after about 20 minutes . . . anyone else having this problem?
 
I always have to play Pokemon on the computer so I can speed it up dramatically. I enjoy it greatly but the novelty doesn't outweigh the snails pace that this RPG goes at.

Your internal battery is dead, might as well toss the game.
 
Blue version was the shit. Charzard used fire it was super effective! mother fuck yes.
 
On LSD I find games 'move too slow', there is too much waiting in between things and I can't focus well on the game, unless its something like tetris on a higher level, then it moves fast enough. I like tetris on psychedelics, but pokemon (even though a fun game sober) would move just too slow.
