Is this typical of Paxil?

I've been using Paxil for the past couple of weeks.

At first it only caused nausea and jaw clenching.

Now, I don't experience that at all.

SSRI's will take a few weeks to feel their full effects, and for their side-effects to subside. So, yes it is normal. By the way, please don't use DXM while on Paxil. One or the other, but obviously not DXM everyday. The combo could result in what is called serotonin syndrome, which can be fatal.

I have abused DXM + Paxil together to the point I was sweating, agitated, and couldn't go to sleep. If this is moderate Serotonin Syndrome, then is there still a chance for like a 'spontaneous' fatal incident to occur if I combine them both at much lower dosages then the times they made me ill?

People give me the impression that Serotonin Syndrome is a spontaneous event that can be caused by the same dose that caused no ill effects previously.

A good question, but one which I can't answer, because I don't know. I really advise against it, because the combo is just not safe one IMO. In the name of harm reduction, I advise you not to combine, but I don't know the answer to that particular question.
