tranquility bath salt

Hi guys! This is my first post.
I just wanted to say that I just tried Tranquility a few days ago. I would seriously advise people not to try this, or be VERY cautious. It's brutal stuff and it felt dangerous. I can see how it could send somebody to the hospital.
It's a shame because it had nice effects, but I experienced some really nasty negative ones too. I'm not highly experienced, but I'm not totally inexperienced either.
My favorites used to be MDMA and coke, but I left those behind a while ago now. Recently however, I've developed a love affair with a certain legal research chemical, but I've noticed lately I'm building quite a tolerance, as my cravings have been getting worse every week so I was searching for something to use inbetween rolls. That's what led me to Tranquility.
I got 500mg. The one I received has a black cap, purple label with a "Q" on the top. It's a fine, fluffy, clumpy white powder. Not off white, just white. I read everything I could about it before I tried it, but there's not that much information out there. In a few places it was suggested that it was MDPV, so I tried to go easy even though I may have ended up overdoing it. I don't have a scale so I had to eyeball it. Assuming that the total was originally 500mg, I would say that I used approximately 150mg spread out over the course of few hours snorted in small bumps. Out of the original 500mg, I have a little more than half left.
In hindsight that was probably WAY too much, but I had to wing it due to the lack of a scale and the not being able to find information about exactly what was in it. I thought I was doing good having more than half left... but I guess not. I'm glad that I tried to read everything I could find though because if I hadn't I probably would have tried to snort the whole thing. At least I had some idea that there may be more than meets the eye there and to be a little careful.
As I said, in my experience the peak was nice. The best way I can describe it is it felt like a Methylone/MDMA slight euphoria with more stimulation.
Then, I quickly started feeling the nasty effects...it felt like I got hit with a brick wall. Whatever was in this stuff has some kind of muscle paralyzing effect to it which was something I've never experienced with anything else I've done before and was a little scary. It started with total numbness in my face/lips/neck. Then my throat muscles stopped cooperating and I couldn't swallow correctly. Then it felt like it disabled my diaphragm and I was having trouble taking a deep breath. I experienced a severe loss of motor skills and I couldn't hold or manipulate objects. Hand and body shaking was severe. I also noticed that my hands and feet became extremely cold and turned a bluish tint. I kept trying to smoke a cigarette but couldn't do it to save my life because: 1. I couldn't get my muscles in my face/lips/mouth/throat to cooperate because they were almost completely paralyzed, 2. I couldn't take a deep enough breath to do it and 3 . I couldn't hold the cigarette. I also tried to get a drink but only managed to swallow a little bit. I wouldn't have been able to speak because I couldn't move my mouth, lips or tongue enough, and I couldn't get enough force from my diaphragm/lungs to speak. At some point I noticed that my eyes were bothering me, so I went into the bathroom to look in the mirror. They were irritated, bloodshot and swollen out of my skull.
Oh, and whatever was in this stuff lasted forever... after the last bump I was still going 13 1/2 hours later. It was TOO strong.
The worst part was that after the good effects finally wore off, all of those scary effects remained for 2 days. It's actually just today that I have control over my motor skills and muscles again. I was starting to worry that I had done permanent damage. I wasn't able to sleep for the past couple of days, then I crashed and slept for 16 hours straight. When I woke up this morning I found that my muscles had been unparalyzed and I had control of everything. Also, my eyes had cleared up and the irritation was gone. My hands and feet returned to normal temperature and the bluish tint was gone. I'm still not totally back to normal but I'm about 90%.
It was a nasty, dangerous feeling substance WHATEVER it was. The high was not worth it. Based on the way I felt, I can't imagine anybody taking the whole 500mg or even more!
I'm probably going to take what's left and dump it down the sink. I think that this stuff is toxic... I wouldn't mess with it again and I wouldn't recommend that anyone else try it, either.

Coming across this thread last week, in conjunction with my new found infatuation in these new quasi-legal stimulants, I broke down and finally purchased some via the interweb. I searched the few headshops in my area, as well as most of the indian convenience stores that sell bongs and legal herbs and shit, but nobody carried it. Semi discouraged, since I am not in the loop of the good/bad RC vendors, (except phenazepam) I was a bit hesitant to order Tranquility off the internet. But, to my surprise, a legitimate, well known auction type online thing (if this is too close to sourcing, please delete) was selling it, and for a decent price as well. I still wasn't committed, but that night after some klonopin and weed, I said fuck it, and purchased it.
I was still minrorly skeptical, but low and behold 3 days later (today), the friendly postal worker delivered me a small brown envelope, containing a 500mg bottle of Tranquility Bath Salt. THe purple label, black cap one. The good one, supposedly.
Being that I had absolutely nothing to do todya,, other than make a few phone calls, then just freeze my ass off in this miserable winter, I decided to try it out.
First I sniffed a couple key bumps to play it safe, and noticed a slight euphoria and speedynesss come over me. Kinda like.. a semi strange mdma high, minus the extreme lovey empathetic feeling. So far so good, though. So, since I am currently trying to end a love affair with smoked cocaine, i naturally wanted to smoke it, since 90 percent of what I read claimed it was MDPV, although cut. So I load up a bump into a glass rose stem, and blast off. Pretty nice rush actually ! Not like crack, though. Enjoyable, and very motivated as I got more shit done in the past 2 hours than I have all week.
Comedown is pretty harsh though, but not unbearable. NOt like a coke comedown. It is INCREDIBLY 'Moreish' though.. I have been re-dosing ever hour or two for the past 9 hours, maintainign my high, as well as working on my art, talking to people on facebook, and cleaning up my room.
I am still doing it, though, so I obviously haven't fully come down yet , or know the extent of how much the comedown will suck. Unfortunatelly i ran out of K-pins YESTERDAY.. Bummer.. Do't even have any booze. Just my methadone take homes.
Overall, I am pleasently surprised and impressed with the potency, and the quality of the high. Without taking the comedown into acccount, as of now I would give it a 7.5-8/10.

Sounds like a serious allergic reaction. Almost would even say you were poisoned. Think you maybe right to call it toxic. The problem with most bath salts, besides not listing active contents, is a lack of consistant mixing between the active ingredient and the cuts. Leaving the user vulnerable to getting unmixed, straight active contents. This could be considerably damaging if the substance consumed is active at only few mg's or less.

That's pretty interesting. An allergic reaction is something I never considered, and you may be right. The thought never even crossed my mind. We really have no idea what's in it. It could be anything. I know now that I probably over did it, but I really don't want to try it again to find out. I'm assuming that a lesser amount would probably still have the same effects, maybe just not last as long.
I'm curious if anybody else got those kinds of effects from it. It was some really strange stuff. Based on what I've read, I'm the only person that has come across that kind of reaction. Then again, as you said it's probably mixed together randomly with random purity...
It sure as hell felt dangerous to me...

^^^^There are many makers and suppliers of this stuff. Even with the same supplier I"ve always got it from, the ingredients, looks, and effects have changed.
This stuff is dangerous for many reasons. Though I have enjoyed it a few times, I'd never offer or suggest anyone to try it. Mostly because I have personally seen how fiendish it can be when highly available.

Burns, smells, and even the residue looked identical to PV in my belief. Compared both between a 4 or 5 hour period. PV has a more cracked out, wirey feel though.

OK, so I'm an idiot.
I was itching for something tonight so bad and that jar of Tranquility was staring at me. I decided to give it another go. I didn't have any plans to get wasted tonight, but I started to listen to some music that I usually listen to when I roll and that was it... I needed SOMETHING, anything.
About 30 minutes ago I snorted a small bump and THAT'S IT. I'm going to see what happens in a smaller amount. I promised myself that I wouldn't redose. So far I'm starting to feel it a little bit, slightly euphoric and dizzy and colors are brightening and looking sharp like they did last time but nowhere near as hardcore. I'm getting slight numbness although I've noticed that the ridiculous amount of perspiration in my hands and feet is coming back and they're starting to feel extremely cold like they did. Also, I'm getting the hand shakes again, which I actually like because it gets me excited that I know it's working and I'm going to be growing wings and flying soon.
The only reason I tried it again is because I want it to work so bad... it's cheap, readily available and I don't need that much of it so despite the nasty effects I'm trying to make it work.
I'll let you know what happens. I just wanted to give it another shot to make sure that it was this stuff's fault and not MY fault that I took too much. I'm hoping that I'm not going to be up until tomorrow night. If worst comes to worse this time I've got some Xanax that I can knock myself out with I if need to. Oh, this post has gotten long. Sorry. After having such a bad reaction to it in the past I would had thought you would trashed it right after.
I haven't found any info containing people having the kind of side effects you experienced. Did you notice any allergic like reaction after that small bump?
Even spread out over just a few hours, your first experience of 150mg-250mg isn't what I'd call over doing it(though not suggested.) I'm no doctor but believe an allergic reaction or poor manufacturing is likey the reasoning.
I enjoy pure RC's quite often as well and understand tolerance build. Tranquility is about the WORST temporary substitute for a prefered RC. Continued use could turn that "temporary" substitute to your one and only.
No RC that I've done has made me fiend more than Tranquility. From a long line of various drug experiences, nothing has made me fiend more. I have been told by more than one person that they haven't went a single day without it since the first time they tried it.
Minimal usage for most, without abusing/ redosing multiple times, is unlikely. I believe few to none could use this weekly without eventully abusing it.

Yeah, you're right, I know.
This stuff is still nasty. I still got most of the negative effects like muscle paralysis and numbness, even in that small of an amount so I'm done with it. It just didn't hit me as hard this time. It still stood for a while and just went away today.
I definitely see what you're talking about when you say it can be addictive. Twice now when I've taken it it's kicked my ass. Funny enough, I still can't bring myself to dump it down the sink so I'm gonna give it to somebody and tell them throw it away for me.
It's a shame. I wanted it to work.

I tried the Tranq both IV and nose and didn't get much rush from IV but was solid awake for two days on about 1/4 g. Okay for something that was legal, but is being banned where I live as of today....not that impressive compared to the real deal, in clean form...I compare to speed, not coke...

It must just be me that gets those kinds of effects from it. I'm a Methylone freak.
That's what I'm afraid of. How long is it gonna be before they want to take this away from us too? Then they wonder why people resort to illegal means.

It wouldn't hurt my feelings one bit if they just banned the selling of fake bath salts. Knowing they are going make the RC's that are in them illegal is what sucks.
MDPV has kicked my ass before plus I have a friend currently with a bad problem with it so no big deal if it's banned. But mephedrone, methylone, and my current favorite butylone will probably be banned in a month or two.

That's what I'm saying. You know they won't just go for one. They want them all.
That's why I'm buying as much as I can now. Once they ban all of them I'm going to have to figure something else out. That's one of the reasons why I love RCs so much... I live in an area where finding stuff is next to impossible unless you go into areas where you're likely not to come back. RCs let me avoid all of that, and I'm perfectly happy with the level of fun they offer. They're perfect. Once the ban comes down, it's going to turn more innocent people into criminals.
Butylone, huh? That's a new one. What's that like? I'll have to look into it.
