"Only Time"

Who can say where the road goes
Where the day flows, only time
And who can say if your love grows
As your heart chose, only time

Who can say why your heart sighs
As your love flies, only time
And who can say why your heart cries
When your love lies, only time

Who can say when the roads meet
That love might be in your heart
And who can say when the day sleeps
If the night keeps all your heart
Night keeps all your heart

Who can say if your love grows
As your heart chose
- Only time]
And who can say where the road goes
Where the day flows, only time

Who knows? Only time

^People can be very cynical of Enya but she has some of the most beautiful, soothing tunes...all mystical and heartwarming....gooey and melting and warm!;)=D

"When You're Gone"

I always needed time on my own
I never thought I'd need you there when I cry
And the days feel like years when I'm alone
And the bed where you lie is made up on your side

When you walk away I count the steps that you take
Do you see how much I need you right now

[Chorus]
When you're gone
The pieces of my heart are missing you
When you're gone
The face I came to know is missing too
When you're gone
The words I need to hear to always get me through the day and make it ok
I miss you

I've never felt this way before
Everything that I do reminds me of you
And the clothes you left, they lie on the floor
And they smell just like you, I love the things that you do

When you walk away I count the steps that you take
Do you see how much I need you right now

[Chorus]

We were made for each other
Out here forever
I know we were, yeah
All I ever wanted was for you to know
Everything I'd do, I'd give my heart and soul
I can hardly breathe I need to feel you here with me, yeah

[Chorus]

Was it the short film/documentary entitled "Stuff"? (I'd post a link, but due to the nature of the video, the fact that it depicted Frusciante's home/Frusciante in such an awful state...it might be painful for some to watch. :\) It's actually on YouTube, though.

Dude, I had absolutely NO clue that Flava Flav was in Public Enemy! Hahaha. I saw him EVERYWHERE on VH1 and whatnot for a while there and I was like "Who the hell is this dude with the clock around his neck?" Hahaha! I don't listen to much rap (obviously), although I always remain open minded. That was pretty rad, actually!

^ "Just kick my cane out from under me!" Never heard that one before—rather funny! Dig it. I suppose I kicked my own cane out from under me with the Flava Flav comment! Haha.

Yeah, apparently the film, "Stuff", was produced by a few of Frusciante's buddies. All of whom saw Frusciante just how you stated. Basically, it was an attempt to save him, make him aware of what a mess his life was, ect. Johnny Depp earned some major boy scout merits for that one—shows wholesome character on his part.

It is honestly a miracle that man was able to come out of such a dark, desolate state.

Had a feeling you'd fancy "Heavenly Surrender". Rad! Wonderful, wonderful stuff there. %)
