It's a "reported phenomenon" in the United States, which says it all really. Biologically the term "losing the magic" means absolutely nothing. It's just a laymens term to describe someones undesired increase in tolerance. I rolled every week or two for 6 months, sometimes taking down multiple grams in a weekend, and I haven't "lost the magic" because I understand that the phenomenon does not exist, so I don't worry about it. It only exists on here because people hype the statement like crazy and start a new thread about it every day in Ecstasy Discussion. New MDMA and bluelight users come on here looking for real information, and see the term thrown around so often they worry about "losing their magic", sometimes after as little as two or three uses... madness! People get piped and think they "lost the magic", they use too often without taking a break and peg the underwhelming experience that results as a "loss of magic" and then they tell other people they "lost the magic" so those people can start worrying about it... its a vicious cycle that needs to end. This is an extremely informative site with a helpful and often intelligent user base, lets please lay this term to rest.
Lost your "magic"? Take a 6 month break. Realize perception of any experience changes over time. Embrace the changes and make the most out of every new roll.
