It seems to me that methamphetamine has a much greater ability to cause serious paranoia and amphetamine psychosis much stronger and quicker than amphetamine. I draw this from both personal experience and anecdotal evidence. It feels to me like amphetamine, without horrendously pushing the limit, nearing OD territory even, will fail to produce the anywhere close to same intensity and quick onset of paranoia/psychosis as methamphetamine. Methamphet seems almost inseparable from the horrible paranoia when used recreationally. I notice a lot of talk about how in European recreational drug culture, this is a major reason for amphetamine being so much more prevalent then its methyl brother.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
I apologize if this has been asked before, I UTFSE'd on 3 search engines (both bluelight searches and a general google search) but found it a rather hard topic to utilize a search engine for because of the massive amounts of topics & information on the general subject of amphetamine psychosis, not specific to the differences between substances.

I will sit looking through it for hours. I will sit on a chair staring at the door. I will then peak out of the curtains every 10 minutes. Of course the blinds are closed. I'm not exactly sure who I'm expecting to come but I've got a gun under the couch...waiting. I'll be inside talking to myself trying to hide from the shadow people. If somebody else is with me we'll work as a team looking through the key hole and window. If we actually see a real person we go insane and start wondering if they are real or fake. We go nuts!
