Do vegans trip longer?

Okay, So the reason I'm starting this thread is because of the 10 people in my psychedelic research crew, there is one pescatarian, 2 vegans, and 7 vegetarians.

The 2 vegans both seem to have extended psychedelic experiences.

Case Studies:
DOC for v1 lasted 30 hours.
2c-e for v1 lasts ~16 hours.

2c-b for v2 last 12 hours.
4-aco-dipt for v2 lasted 10 hours.

By the time the rest of us are down and out, they are still going strong. I was wondering if anyone have any personal, anecdotal, or biomedical data they could contribute regarding this phenomena. I live in an area where the vegetarainism/veganism is very popular, so when I talk about duration of psychedelics, I always have to put a *it lasts this long....unless you're a vegan clause*

Do Discuss.

yeah you may be right.
I'm not sure if their high lasts longer or if time just actually slows down to a crawl in direct proportions to the quality of conversation.
Perhaps they just kill my buzz?!

im only pssing about.
My sisters a vegan and my wife was for 5 years too.
Both of them were unhealthy and ended up making themselves ill.
You can irritate your stomach or intestines and become hyper-sensitive to certain foods and such like. I believe its something to do with a lack of natural enzymes and bacteria and your body will process and digest larger molecules than usual, though I confess, I don't remember the exact details.
My sister's body became so sensitive that when she abandoned veganism, she'd be absolutely wasted off chocolate! and buzzed to hell from a glass of coke.
It was kind of fucked up and scary to be honest.

303 like 720? Haha, you look like you might be in my area.

no man.
It refers to the Roland Tb 303 oscillating synthesizer that gave birth to the concept of the "rave", as it was a fundamental part of U.K acid house and techno music in the early ninetees.

Im not American!

Us meatheads do put alot in our bodies and therefore some of it just ends up as "noise" i think a vegan or a vegetarian might even eat LESS overall that the protein rich diets of me and my Grecian-bodied friends. One friend of mine who can eat even raw meat without issue also has a fairly high drug tolerance. I strongly do believe one increases their sensitivity to any and all things when they start shying away from fast food or even tyramine rich foods. I feel spiritually "higher" if I stay away from intoxicants like caffeine and other lesser drugs and the like and therefore more sensitive to anything.

Interesting observation! i'm still far more sensitive to hallucinogens than to some bar goers and "weekend partiers" types because they use their bodies as indulgence factories just throwing more hot wings and beer and mcdonalds on the fire in an attempt to feel good. these people I find are the least sensitive to trips.

The body adapts and tries to "normalize" despite whatever you do to it and resistance is highest when you treat it like a garbage bin and a "rush" inducing mechanism. and becomes far more sensitive when you treat it like a vessel and listen to what it wants.

oddly though I want some damn meat!

edit: like this summer at a festival I discovered that my body works divinely if left to it's own mechanisms and craving and actually reacts quite poorly and in near distress when fed copious amounts of drugs that are meant to aid in my current needs, such as maybe using MDMA for energy, or codeine for pain relief, which had me nauseous and full of a bad type of energy that left me flexing parts of my body painfully and without cause. a lot of this stuff just slows me down even when used to cure one thing... band-aids that is all they are! quite often the initial problem is better left the only one, no cure is a cure all.

edit edit : Actually i've read and heard in many ways that Humans came to what we are through being the most adaptable most tolerant species on this planet we are multi-climate omnivores that are incredibly capable of changing our minds/tolerances/physical capabilities just by acting to do so, by my will and mindset alone I tolerate extreme cold better than most friends of mine am I just built for it, did I train myself mentally as well as physically? Humans are everywhere on this planet surviving on extremely different foods! There are some species out there that can't askew from anything besides ONE type of food from their pallet, if it is removed they will die. I always wonder and will study what to eat in my environment should I ever have to survive on what is around me, probably apples, deer, and roots om nom nom. I think this adaptability is part of our nature, what would be better for all of our senses of well-being and real safety would it be to be able to tolerate anything? Humans are the tasters of everything and in some old native american rhetoric to which I am a part, "can make the sounds of any animal of this earth and not just one, but all any and every sound."

There isn't exactly a large difference between a vegetarian and a vegan diet, or a pescetarian and a vegetarian diet, so I don't imagine that it is a factor.

Mmmmmm. A Roland 303, 606, and 808 is all I need.

....for a fucking awesome time!!! =D=D

I've not noticed my trips lasting any longer than my non-vegan friends, though I've only been vegan for 7 months.
