Good to see you back here.

Man, today I put the finishing touches on an application I coded for work to make an interface for creating code for this one complicated thing some clients want to do. It used to take an hour per "concept" to do, and if you messed up or if they came back and wanted to change some wording or something, you'd have to start over. But my program lets you create them in like 5 minutes, and make changes and then import the entire thing automatically in, working 100%, with a visual interface. It was a surprise because I'm looking to get promoted to a more full-on programmer role. Recently the other 3 people in my position who were sort of in "top" position all quit within 2 months, so now suddenly I'm for sure that person. And my boss already said that there would be raises this year (after none for a couple of years because of the economy). So it's looking promising.
