Legitimate Research Uses for RC's?

I was wondering if anyone knew of any plausibly legitimate uses for various RC's? Since many are analogues of scheduled substances (in the USA anyway) they have to be marketed "not for human consumption" or "research only." Since I, along with the vast majority of us, aren't using the various substances for plant food or whatever, we could be charged with a crime for possessing these analogs. I was wondering if any of you knew of a good excuse for having RC's that isn't human consumption. If I ever get caught with a sketchy bag of powder in my wallet by the cops, it would be nice to have an excuse on hand. I'm not sure the cops would buy the "plant food" excuse.

The only advice i can think of is to either only order RC's that aren't analogues of scheduled substances, or don't carry them around in your wallet. Keep your stash at home and if you must bring a dose with you rather than taking it before leaving then fold up however much you need for one dose in a piece of paper.

Also learn your rights. If the cop doesn't find anything in the open and isn't arresting you, all he can legally do is pat you down for weapons. Don't let him empty your pockets if you aren't being arested. If he tries to anyway don't physically resist but clearly, calmly, and loudly state that you do not consent to any search - especially if you were pulled over because then it will be recorded by the camera in his cruiser.

Basically just don't be dumb, and you won't get arrested. *ALSO* look up your states analogue laws. Your state might not care what the intended purpose is, so even though federally you can claim it's not for human consumption, on the state level they might not give a shit. Plus even if it's not an analogue of any scheduled substance that doesn't mean they won't charge you with possession of an imitation of a controlled substance or some bullshit like that, which in some states they can do. And that's if they do it legit. Somebody posted in Bluelights legal discussion not to long ago because he got arrested with an RC, and the lab results came back as cocaine. Which it wasn't, he had a very reliable source and knows what coke and his substance felt like. Further more cutting an RC with coke would be retarded and extremely cost inefficient.

Don't forget that at the end of the day, police make ALL the rules.

All of that is excellent advise. Unfortunately, I've already learned that police make all the rules, as I'm currently out on bail for conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance. That's what got me into the RC scene to begin with. I can't use anything that will show up on a drug test and I'm staying away from illegal drugs that won't show up, like LSD. I'm being quite careful and have actually been staying away from schedule 1 and 2 analogs due to the laws. Still, any excuse would also apply to non-analogues too. It would be a last line of defense so to speak, as I'm being careful as it is. What you posted about the RC coming back from the lab identified as coke is quite scary though.

Under federal analogues act ALL analogues are schedule one. Schedule IV analogues, if proven to be for human consumption, will be charged as schedule I.

Good luck with everything though.

Thanks. And are you sure analogues of schedule 3, 4, and 5 drugs are illegal? I was reading the wikipedia article on the analogue act and it only says schedule 1 and 2. Of course, wikipedia probably isn the best source for legal information... Anyway, here's what the wikipedia article says. I'm not trying to argue or anything, just trying to get the most accurate information I can :D Also, I realize some states have their own laws.

A) Except as provided in subparagraph (C), the term controlled substance analogue means a substance -
(i) the chemical structure of which is substantially similar to the chemical structure of a controlled substance in schedule I or II;
(ii) which has a stimulant, depressant, or hallucinogenic effect on the central nervous system that is substantially similar to or greater than the stimulant, depressant, or hallucinogenic effect on the central nervous system of a controlled substance in schedule I or II; or
(iii) with respect to a particular person, which such person represents or intends to have a stimulant, depressant, or hallucinogenic effect on the central nervous system that is substantially similar to or greater than the stimulant, depressant, or hallucinogenic effect on the central nervous system of a controlled substance in schedule I or II.
(B) The designation of gamma butyrolactone or any other chemical as a listed chemical pursuant to paragraph (34) or (35) does not preclude a finding pursuant to subparagraph (A) of this paragraph that the chemical is a controlled substance analogue.
(C) Such term does not include -
(i) a controlled substance;
(ii) any substance for which there is an approved new drug application;
(iii) with respect to a particular person any substance, if an exemption is in effect for investigational use, for that person, under section 355 of this title to the extent conduct with respect to such substance is pursuant to such exemption; or
(iv) any substance to the extent not intended for human consumption before such an exemption takes effect with respect to that substance.
