Lets see your Kandy.

No kandi isn't candy nor edible at all. It's plastic beads made into bracelets / necklaces. They're mostly popular in the rave scene on the west coast from what I've noticed. I like them because of how ridiculous and silly they are... kinda emphasizes the leave your ego at the door vibe that raves have ^_^ And aside from a couple of pieces that mean a lot to me, I don't wear them outside of raves.

Well, one time when I was rolling ridiculously hard, I decided it would be a good idea to swallow a bead. Probably not the most brilliant idea I've had whilst rolling, you know, but didn't kill me or anything. I wouldn't recommend trying to down a whole bracelet though. That probably wouldn't work out too well...
 
I WISH it were made out of real candy. That would be some pretty BAMF rolling fun, right there.

i have a lot of fun...there are seriously beads everywhere in my apartment. idk sometimes i feel weird about it, especially posting so many pics...but tis the season! after NYE i won't be so bad hahahahaha

purse for my friend. i did the pink part and the bow on the top. she did the glitter on the sides, joined the edges of the purse together and added the straps =) our outfits are almost done!!

Thanks :) me too! a friend of mine who isnt actually into kandi was showing me some beads and bracelets she made ages ago and one of them was weaved in an interesting pattern that i ended up using as a template for the jewel one. I should have used different string.. that one took me nearly 1 1/2 hours to do >.< normally a regular 3d takes me 30m.
