ya I get asked that pretty often because when I roll I get really touchy with people - hugs, masssages, etc (obviously not in a sexual way though). My fiance is okay with me doing that, but when I introduce people to my fiance they sometimes ask if we are in an open relationship. I guess they think that since I am with someone that I shouldn't be allowed to hug people, and if I am that means that I am in an open relationship. Haha silly people
 
here in the city there are a lot of warehouse parties that people call raves when in fact i don't really think they are raves... it's just a huge party with some lights, music and whacked out people... anyway

Everytime i see a really cute girl having a good time I ask her 'Can i borrow your energy?!" or any form of that and they always giggle and then we dance

The raves around where I live everyone is pretty much open about drugs. Well not too open because there's the chance of an undercover cop.
They're definitely not underground. They're at legit places, very closely watched.
Police are outside the entrance, they pat you down before you go in, there's a good amount of people.

A lightshow is people who have lights, usually have gloves with lights in them and they do a "show" for you with the lights. But sometimes people have glowsticks or.. these other things forgot what they're called
 
The main things i get asked are:

got any spare pills?
know anyone selling?
can i scab a smoke?
whatre you on tonight?
can i use your lighter? - they always try to pocket it after i give it to them, i feel like a mum when i have to watch them and remind them to give it back haha.

Honestly, when people ask me this, after raving for about 7 years, I don't know if I should be insulted or not. I mean, does that mean I look so fucked up they think it is my first time?

Someone tried giving me some Kandy at a event this year, and he was trying to show me all the different symbols (I have seen them before just don't remember it all), like making a heart, then some other symbol and reciting something before I got the Kandy. Then they were like "Is this your first rave?" I was laughing like uhhhhh No its been awhile since my first one.

Let's see. " can you help me find my friend?".LOL I always find lost people and get lost myself sometimes.

Or whenever I light up a J, a crowd of moochers start coming in like " can i get a hit?", usually Ill let them take one rip but that's it.

Not sure if I posted this yet or not.... but my first rave... I couldn't stop asking people... "What are you onnnnnnn?" =D

(Hoping I would hear "I'm rolling", at which point we'd do a little fist pound, and it was pretty great, whatevs whatevs)

but on a serious note,i went raving from 1996-2002 and didnt take any class A (mdma/ecstasy) when other ravers would ask me what id had? and i used to reply 'nothing' they would stare at me in disbelief!! needless to say from 2002-2008 i used mdma on a weekly basis.
 
another thing that used to happen to me at raves was that a random raver would come and sit next to me while i was chilling out and they would start mc'ing down my ear :=D
