New JWH Urine TesT!!!, detect time really 72hrs??? PLEASE HELP!!

Basic Base, do you know which lab your urines are sent to?

also; by Northeast, I meant New England. My mistake.

wish I could get that article for free, looks interesting. Does it say anything about whether they can differentiate the metabolites of the various chemicals? Apparently Redwood is now testing saliva for JWH 018, 073, and also 250. They also provide a spreadsheet of the various chemicals used in different smoke blends. I didn't even know of JWH-019, and the chemical is very similar to 018. That makes me very nervous although I stopped smoking all of them almost 4 weeks ago just in case.

Redwood. I believe also that these tests will most likely become obsolete in months to come, following the federal ban. They may stop progressing the test at some point since the ban will cut the supply line of the drug, making it hard to obtain, therefore harder to use and be tested for it.

So what is the story with all these other chemicals. There is now JWH-5C, AM-694, Zx-1, AM-2201, etc. Since these are all cannabinoid related, will they produce similar metabolites? I have done quite a lot of research about the original compounds 018 and 073 and it seems that the metabolites are similar but not exactly the same.

I just would like to elevate my brain somehow and not get in any more trouble. Thoughts?

I found this in another place on the web...

The difference between those two in particular is an ether on the phenyl group on JWH-250 which is not seen on JWH-018. Metabolism tries to make things more water-soluble, so if that oxygen in the ether of JWH-250 is acted upon it would likely be demethylated to a hydroxyl. It's possible that JWH-018 could have an hydroxyl added at that position, but I think it's unlikely.

An alternative possibility is for the carbonyl to be cleaved, resulting in the potential for the common segments of JWH-018 and JWH-250 to yield common metabolites.

I can't say anything for certain without knowing what specific metabolites are tested for in the Redwood test. And a generalization to all indole synthetic cannabinoids regarding possible metabolites cannot be made. Each compound would need to be considered individually.

Given the structural similarities between the indole synthetic cannabinoids it is possible that some may share similar metabolites.

Hopefully the tests phase out and are no longer used due to the "epidemic" being outlawed.

Stock up :X

Good find Sipx. It is so hard to find any reliable evidence about any of these chemicals at this time. There are so many popping up I guess sampling any of them is like gambling if you are being tested.

ZX-1 is naphthylpyrovalerone. (Naphyrone/ "NRG-1")

Not sure about the other.

anyone else have any reports of how long the metabolites of these chemicals stay in your system... headtronz- are you sure it was a full 30 days or somewhere between 14 and 30?

It was somewhere between 21-30 days. I get tested weekly.

Wow... really blows the 72 hours out of the water! I smoked one hit 3 weeks ago and before that it had been 2 weeks. Hopefully I'll be good if I ever have to test. Thanks for the info.

Can't believe this isn't closed, but THEY DETECT METABOLITES NOT THE CHEMICAL. The metabolites might have a half life of a few seconds or a few months.

We know. Redwood claims they can test for the metabolites only for 72 hours. That is apparently not true. My guess is that their tests can only test for it 100% reliably for 72 hours. Someone's level of use and their own metabolism can vary how long the metabolites can be detected.

I just wish we had more first hand data, like headtronz' personal account, to come up with a rough estimate of the average detection period. I hope this DOES NOT get closed until we get closer to a real conclusion. I have followed this thread quite closely since i created it and I am Quite pleased with the amount of feedback I got, but we need at least one more experience so that we could draw a basis for comparison. Good work BL'ers

The labs say 72 hours. I failed 3 weeks later after daily use for months at a time. The labs dont have enough research about the tests. Call redwood toxicology
