Is it like being really high and really drunk?

Sorry for the amateur question but as one who's never done E and plans to do it next week i have a question is it basically like getting wasted then smoking weed? if you've done that you'll know the feeling, ive done research on it but id rather ask someone whos done it.
 
Nothing like what you said OP. E is like having a rush of euphoria all over your body for 3-4 hours. You love everyone that is living/will live/has lived and life seems beautiful beyond words :)

Definitely nothing like a drunk/stoned stupor.
Coming up can sometimes feel a bit strange - a bit hypnotized/trancey feeling, and dry mouth, but that soon passes and you feel pleasantly tingly, energetic, euphoric and either want to dance your ass off and talk to everybody. It's slightly hallucinogenic in that colors will seem brighter etc, but nowhere near as much so as acid. You can have normal conversations. It's a great feeling that's hard to describe really
 
Yeah, word don't really do justice do the MDMA experience. I guess it is kind of like being drunk in that you let go of your inhibitions, but that's about where the similarities end. Alcohol makes you let go by slowing down. MDMA on the other hand allows you to let go of your inhibitions by allowing you to "touch what is within you".

This where the awesome power of MDMA comes in. You can approach complicated issues that are often difficult to deal with in "sober" life with complete calm and resolve. It's can be incredible. When you saying to person on MDMA, it feels like you genuinely mean what you're saying, as if it came right from your heart.

Then there is the euphoria and increase in music appreciation, which only add to making everything seem magical when you are on MDMA.

A unique substance like no other... <3
 
Hate to be a negative nancy, but if your a first timer i've got almost no doubt in my mind you'll get pipes o some othe shit.
 
Yeah, as a first timer, it's so important to get a testing kit and check out your pill on pillreports for your region. Hell, even for seasoned pro's it's important! I'd hate you to get the wrong impression for your first roll by getting something that's not MDMA. You would know no better, and be puzzled by everyone's positive reports.
 
its a very clean high, mixing alcohol and cannabis is a groggy messy high
 
Just to repeat what everyone else has said, no, definitely not like mixing weed and booze. That just happens to be a combination that right fucks me up, but not in a very good way. Anyway, like I say when my one friend who's curious about ecstasy but will never get to try it because of his wife haha, "There are just no words, no words." And there probably never will be. The English language hasn't evolved enough yet to be able to describe something like the ecstasy high.
 
Okay so this is how I would describe it. Hopefully you get really clean pills on your first try like I did.

At first you kind of get that anxious, tingly feeling in your stomach on the come up. And it sort of builds from there. For me, after that phase passed it hit me like a ton of bricks. I stood up and immediately felt something was off. I felt really floaty as I walked and my head kind of felt floaty as well (I guess from all the chemicals being released). Your touch is heightened to the max and the slightest touch will feel extremely good, kind of like when your having sex and you can't get your hands off that person. Thats why people tend to give massages, or head rubs, or even start rubbing their face a lot lmao.

The body buzz is amazing too. Picture your orgasm at its peak, but lasting for about 3-5 hours. I read somewhere that MDMA releases the same chemical, Oxytocin, which is what releases during an orgasm, giving you that loving feeling towards others and just the plain ol' orgasmic rush (don't flame me on this). Plus with all the serotonin being released you literally feel happier than you've ever been in your life. The happiest moment in your life x10 with a million-dollar-lottery-winner-feeling is how I describe it :P. You become extremely social and have this complete love for everyone around you. Music flows through your body with every beat and its almost like you can feel it. Which is why I think a lot of EDM artists use a lot of bass in their tracks cause it sounds AND feels so good while rolling :D. The dancing part I think has to do with the pills having a little bit of caffeine and amphetamine so its good to have the majority of the pill with MDMA and a little caffeine to give you that urge to stay on the dance floor.

As for visuals, you see tracers and move your eyes really quick sometimes because of the eye wiggles, and it just blends together. Hence the glow sticks and light shows at raves. I guess thats it. Its a really clean high, not something that clouds your mind like weed and alcohol does...that is at the right dose. You can get really "floored" if you take a good amount and end up just sitting your ass down and talking instead of dancing around.
 
Yeah make sure you test the pill, otherwise you could end up with an undesireable drug, such as... High ammounts of Methylphenidate, BZP, or other drugs that simply give you the worst crash of your life. And sometimes there could be no drugs at all... just household chemicals and shit such as Bleach, Cyanide, Rat poison, ect. I remember the first time i bought a pill of ecstacy that was supposed to be mdma... instead i went on a very fucked up PCP trip and thought i was gonna die. So you should really test the pill.

This is a pretty good description.

I am probably the luckiest guy in the world. I went to Bonnaroo with the goal of trying E for the first time, but had not researched a thing about it. I didn't know how to take it, I didn't know how common adulterated pills were...nothing. My friends happened to snag some pills one morning and asked me if I wanted some, and I bought 2 just in case the one wasn't enough. I asked what I needed to know, and they said to pop it an hour before you want to feel it, and drink lots of water...thats it.

Fast forward to that night. I popped one an hour before the Jay-Z show, and let's keep in mind these were blue/purple transformers (decepticon face cut-out). They have HORRIBLE reputations on PillReports. Luckily, I was extremely lucky and got what I deemed to be very clean rolls considering my night was almost a carbon copy of this guy's description.

About half an hour after I started feeling it, I decided to take the other one because I thought I could handle it. Turns out in hindsight that I had pretty much perfect timing on my redose. Keep in mind I had no clue about the science of redosing and when optimal times were, I just happened to get it perfect...and it made for a perfect night. A 6-7 hour roll, in fact.

What happened to me was a matter of insane luck. The pills I got could have easily been pipes, meth, dxm, whatever....but they weren't. The dosage could have been off and I could have either not rolled enough or rolled way too hard...but I happened to get it right.

What i'm saying is just make sure you do your research before you roll, because everyone's first experience should be like mine. Don't waste your first time...you only get it once. I'm just a lucky bastard.
