DEA emergency-scheduled 4 JWH's

^right and I believe this is the ONLY time since mdma was emergency-scheduled that they've used these powers

EDIT:

at least BZP and TFMPP have been emergency scheduled as well.

2c-t-7 was emergency scheduled, and i think ketamine and ghb were as well (not positive and too lazy to check)

^they can't formulate it that broadly with the way the CSA is written. They need to outlaw specific substances (which will automatically prohibit analogues and homologues of such).

So basically all JWHs that are similar in chemical make up (IE almost all of them) are illegal right now?

Plus there are way too many legitimate applications of CB agonists, with that kind of thing scientists would not be able to jump off from a lead chem with CB1 and CB2 or some as of yet undiscovered CB receptor to change the structure to form something that would be psychotropic and good for Alzheimer or something. Some fucktarded republican was whoring himself to the base by introducing a congressional bill to ban salvia, but a shitload of scientists testified against it and the bill rapidly died.

But why the hell does this all matter, manufactures will move to JWH-081 then to 019 and on and on ad infintinium, quite frankly I am a bit glad about the whole JWH fad might be dying down, just brings more attention to the RC market than some psychedelic might as highschool kids are not as likely to do 'hard drugs' (hard drug my ass) because its not sprayed on catnip. It might finally provoke some suppliers to focus more on synthesizing new NMDA antagonists, classical psychedelics, or sigma agonists. I would like to see the void in nmda antagonists, sigma agonists, and opiates start to fill up, all that is out there as far as RC's go is methoxetamine and 3-MeO-PCP, neither of which are confirmed to be what they are claimed and the PCP one is scary sounding. I never really liked JWH's or cannabanoids in general, I got some just for the nostalgia that will come in 25 years.

Not surprising at all. It would have been nice to see legitimate research into medical uses of the JWH family, but that likely won't happen now.

I suggest you JWH enthusiasts stock up right now. 30 days from now, this will not be so easy to locate, especially not in the great purity it is in now.

^ and even then, so what jesus balls just use weed! it's the same along the lines of law anyway by then

It sucks that they are putting this into place so quickly and suddenly. I mean this stuff has been out for a while. I go for the pure powders (since it's ridiculously cheaper than spice, k2, etc). But there are some I know of that aren't included in that. So I'll sleep soundly on my big stash I have saved up for just such an emergency.

Hopefully now the synthetic cannabinoid threads'll stop popping up every several hours around here.

Redwood Toxicology have just released their tests that detect synthetics:

http://www.redwoodtoxicology.com/services/synthetic_cannabinoid_testing.html

While I appreciate the heads-up, I know that Redwood is not the lab that is used for my UA. Besides that, JWH has a very short half-life in comparison to it's natural sister Mary. Redwood is generally used for Athletic groups as far as I can tell. I have not heard of employers or pain clinics using them as it does cost additional money over the standard 12 panel tests (6-panel for some people). I think it will be quiet some time before RCs are tested for standardly due to their separate chemical makeup.

Anyway, this is as far as the drug testing can go as I can see this opening up the flood gates of DT questions. What's been typed already is simply information though, a form of harm reduction in my eyes, but I'll drop the topic I started.

They didn't find any true health risks from MDMA when they emergency scheduled it in 1985 (fraudulent govt. studies involving methamphetamine/Parkinson's notwithstanding), so I fully expect them to ban all JWH's regardless of their potential benefits or risks.

Lame, but not unexpected. I think a fair trade would be to legalize REAL marijuana...then they can take away all the synthetics they want. The main reason they even exist is because of pot prohibition anyway.

Wow, I also am not surprised about this, thats why I began stocking up on K2 a few months ago. And that was after the first time I ever tried it, I was so high I just remember a group of us sittin around saying "how the hell is this ish legal." I like mixing K2 with MJ when possible but I cant even find MJ these days. Poor me, lol

I enjoy the smaller vendors I know going on a scare-induced selling spree on JWH 018. Basically giving this shit away.

Maybe it was a good thing. Whatever, lol... wont need to worry about vendors for JWH for a long while.

^^ that's how I felt when they banned AMT. It didn't stop them - but it didn't stop me from importing it and using it either.

In any case, I don't particularly care for any of the ones they scheduled so I'm just fine... and keep in mind that there are at least 250 JWH compounds... Not to mention the CP, AM, and WIN compounds.

They can never ban them all - even a blanket ban wouldn't work because there are too many substitutions that can be done.

I don't think they will succeed in getting a permanent ban on any of them EXCEPT 018 because 018 has been associated with so many health issues.

Is 018 the most popular one because it gives the most similar high to weed? If so im sure there will be a big hit to online vendors, and they might have trouble with sales of synthetic cannaboids.

man just reading that transcript made me puke:
public
crisis
poision
"legal"
marketed
popular
teens
children
you adults
masked
mimic
no medical value
protect
high
communities
harmful
fool
fake
mislead
harmless

they are telling brainless people how they should think. genius!

also by the 15 states logic, its time to schedule 2 and frederal mmj laws
stop this from happening.

Can only detect JWH-s: 018, 19, 73, 200. They produce the same metabolite.

Edit: And I think 81

just go for 122 or 250

Why do you think 081 would produce the same metabolite as 018 but not 122? Is there any fact behind this or is it just a guess? 081 and 122 seem to be very similar.

Also, I still can legally use my 250 so I'm not that mad, although I do have a gram of 200 in the mail that I'm gonna try to return unopened. But now that I think of it, will the value of these chemicals go up or down after they are illegal? The supply would be drastically cut but so would the demand.
