I've been reading loads of different trip reports recently, with various psychedelics, and there seems to be something very regular.

If I had a quid for everytime I've read "so I put Dark Side of the Moon on"...

It just struck me as a bit funny really.

probably like someone saying they dont like avatar. you know, just to be different. even if you hate the story, it had undeniably badass visuals.

the beatles are just so feel good, know what i mean jellybean

I listened to "I am the walrus" when tripping last year and I had a conversation with a stubborn walrus that wasn't there. Good times.

^^^^Wow seriously????????? How can you not like Pink Floyd or the Beatles?

Always more of a fan of The Kinks & The Rolling Stones from that era.

The Beatles I just find very average & I just find Pink Floyd a bit on the dull side.

Let the rocks fly.

just to be different.

Yes, people being awkward is the only option, people certainly couldn't have different musical tastes.

i would just dislike the beatles, but they're so goddamn popular that i absolutely detest them.

pink floyd is my all time favorite band, tho

Crazy, I love Pink Floyd but I dunno if I ever tripped to that album because I find it too cliched. I'm not a huge fan of The Wall either, I like obscure stuff. I am a fan of the division bell however.
I still consider them my fav band of all time though but nothing wrong w preferring kinks or stones so long as you have some appreciation of psych rock roots. I'll just throw in that Hot Tuna > Airplane

keep in mind that i would dislike them anyway if they weren't popular tho

because i heard them before i ever knew they were popular

i didn't know who elvis was until the 8th grade

Im not the biggest fan of it either, but one time when I was on well over an ounce of mushies (both purple ringers and blue meanies) that album along with windows media player gave me the most intense visuals.
Let's just say the patterns and lights on the laptop left the monitor and encompassed the entire car I was in basically making a music video for me.
Crazy night.

This thread is getting a bit off topic. But I do love to listen to classical music whilst under the influence. I have a deep love for orchestral music and there's something so special about experiencing it on opiates.

I'm not super big into the beatles (honestly I haven't really enjoyed them very much on psychedelics with the exception of a few songs), but I love me some Pink Floyd. I actually threw on some Shine On when I was hanging out in a room full of tripping people. It puts everyone in the chill zone.
