day 24 amp sobriety, extremely recurring brain siezuees?

I know this is a really long post but any read or response would be extremely appreciated...

Hey tds how's it going... its day 24 for me. Managed to wean down to 20-40mg of adderall a day. This is what im perscribed for my add.. I also take 40mg celexa a day for depression.. Everything has been going pretty well I guess. Just kinda have been keeping to myself. Although the last two days have been sort of interesting I guess you could say..

I keep getting these odd" dazy/extreme hyperfocus and feels like im in a dream" moments. Also throw in a few zap/brain siezure feeling things. They happened last night and are happening again, very often. Atleast one every half hour... ill be sitting there and all of a sudden ill notice this high pitched" whirring siren" noise. Very loud and no one else can hear them..

then they just get louder and I go into this really weird negative euphoria and it just gets worse till it just stops, maybe five seconds or five minutes later.. any info would be greatly appreciated...my psych is out of town and my pcp doesn't work fridays.. any help or support or info would help.. idk what's going on.

About to say congrats on quitting Adderall before me, then I noticed you are still on them! Hahaha no worries, are you at where you want to be now? I don't know how much you were using before either so I can't tell much from what you wrote.

Sounds like it has something to do with your antidepressant though.

negative euphoria? could you describe that more?

it certainly sounds like some sort of chemical imbalance adjusting itself in your head. but i'm not sure if that's just the way you describe it. by "sobriety" do you mean that adderall and celexa are the only drugs you are doing?

Yes.

Yes. I am also back on the dose I've had since I was a child
The negative euphoria is kinda distant from my body and im constantly thinking negative thoughts in my head at the same time. About myself. Telling me im dumb or lazy or whatever and they start yelling sometimes. And for some reason they just stop?

Sorry about double posting.

Edit: I just had three blackouts when standing up. Very slow too.. everything would get bright then go rainbiw to black from the outside in and then fell on the floor. I think I might just go to the er.

Yeah, go to the doctor and explain what you're feeling but it honestly just sounds like your body is adjusting to your new drug regimen. Our bodies can do weird things when they've been drugged and then sobered up (or in your case, almost sobered up :P).

Have you thought that perhaps this might have little to do with your prescriptions and could possibly be another health issue? You should definitely see your doctor to rule out anything serious so you can at least have piece of mind and hopefully find a way to prevent these symptoms from occurring anymore.

Hope you feel better soon and keep us updated.
