Rapture (Bath Salts) OD? Help!!!

I'm sorry if this is breaking a rule but I don't have time to read the rules at the moment (I don't think it is). I am very intolerant to stimulants. The basic story is I got 1/2g. (500mg.) of Rapture Brand Bath Salts from the local head shop as a first time sample, since I'm a pretty regular customer. I was told how much to take and I adhered to that. I did a tiny bit (intranasally) at around 12, more at 5, and then the rest at 7. After the first dose at about 4PM I felt the effects wearing down so I figured more wouldn't hurt, especially once I found out the supposed duration of a dose. Now I feel like one side of my head is blocked, my heart is racing faster (that's how it feels) than I have experienced, I'm shaking uncontrollably, and I have the worst headache. Should I worry? Does anyone know what's in them? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

i think i know about how you feel, my life runs around adverse/paradoxical reactions to medications...

you're right asking for help, i don't have an answer, but would beg you to get actual medical assistance, from my experience.

i may shoot a copy of this over to "Other Drugs", out of concern and more to get more opinions.

please do read the user agreement, ;)
maybe just to help divert your self and feel it out if anything, while waiting for responses.

the title might be changed, but anyway...

dont do this now, please wait for more posts or the ER, but a small dose of benedryl is used very regularly for allergic reactions to medications/chemicals...

Thank you for your kindness and understanding. I really think I OD'd on MDVP, and that a benzo shot in the ER would help, but I'm not calling 911 unless it's absolutely necessary. I will read the user agreement. I should have rephrased that first statement. What I mean was that I'm too scared and sick to do it right now, and that I need advice. I'm an addict, I've been trying to get clean for years now. It was stupid to do, and saying I'm an addict is NOT an excuse, but I'm seeking the help now. Any more advice would be much appreciated...
 
Dude go to a walk-in or EMergency room... Better to play it safe then risk your life... Hopefully this will stop your drug use.. Do you have known anxiety problems it could be anxiety.
 
As always it is better to be safe than sorry so if I were you, I would hit up a doctor if anything. With that being said, it sounds like you're experiencing normal side effects of a stimulant. It also sounds like you've been feeling like this for at least a little while and chances are that if you're capable of writing this post the way you have, you will be just fine. I'm no doctor though so once again you should see one just to be safe, especially if your symptoms increase in the slightest.

Hopefully you get better soon, and hopefully you won't mess with this stuff again. Speaking of which, I've no idea what you're talking about except for the information you provided. It has been several years since I was active in the "drug scene" so I am out of the loop on a lot and often find myself scratching my head when reading posts on BL :P Maybe this is something that has even been around for a while and I just haven't heard about but either way can someone tell me what this stuff is normally like when someone uses it (I am going to do a search on it for information but am curious about personal experiences)?
 
well i just tried some of the tranquility im gonna attempt a .2 line and see how i feel . you should be cool unless your having a bad reaction.
 
Do you guys even know what chemical is contained in these products? Anyways, OPs symptoms sound fairly normal for going a bit hard on a stim. Get some water, put some calming music on, lie or sit in bed, remove heavy clothing, and just ride it out. Take a benzo if you have one. In cases like this, I really don't feel medical help is necessary, though people probably disagree here...I've personally experienced far scarier symptoms than OP is describing and never came close to actually calling myself an ambulance. If you're still alive a few hours after taking a stimulant and able to post on-line, you aren't going to die, you'll just be uncomfortable for a couple more hours.
