Hmmm... so you taperd from 4mg to 1/2mg in 2 days and 3 days later your getting high off 1/2mg. Interesting

no i went from 16mg to only 4mg stayed like that for about a week an a half then went to 2 mg stayed like that for a few days then went to one mg which is what i am doing now half in the morning half in the afternoon i have been on my current dose for a week now. i dont know if u would call it high but i can definitley feel an energy boost which i did not feel at all bfore. suboxone is much better in lower doses i am hoping to come down to just .5mg then come off completley. (i have been on my suboxone for a little over 3 months by the way) 2 a day untill i started tapering down like i just explained. with this tapering method going from so much to so little hasnt been hard at all! i was actually amazed at how little i actually need!!

Im so glad its working so well for you. keep it up and im sure you sill start to feel even more euphoria.

I wonder what all those people are gonna say who constantly bitch at me for telling you(and people like you) to taper using the methods I described? They treat me as if I was a retard and am lying about everything and yet here you are, yet another person who has followed my advice correctly and ended up feeling exactly what I described you would feel. Im so happy that you believed in my advice and decided to follow it correctly. I think this will make your life so much easier and enjoyable.

Good luck to you, and as alwaysm keep us updated.

may i ask for you to explain this post?...as i am quite confused as to the meaning of it.

...i apologize for my ignorance....i have a hard time understanding things over the internet that arent literally laid out for me to understand.

our knowledge is again correct... others owned.... lol

ha....well to be fair, our knowledge was correct in this particular instance for this particular person. I agree with you that "our" techniques should be widely applied to many people on suboxone maintanence, and I believe that many people, if they follow the methods correctly, will have very similar results to curlygurl.
But, since we have no scientific studies to back up our evidence, I find it much easier on us to NOT flaunt our success stories very much, as that tends to result in the negative posters who have some unknown reason to constantly disagree with us to start ranting about how "just one person getting high off your method isnt proof of anything!!!".....and in fact they are right....but that doesnt mean that our methods bare no merit. I know that they do and I have faith in them completely, its unfortunate that there hasnt been a study done in relation to our methods. if there was, we would have much more evidence to back up our claims. Even though many people are benefiting from these methods its simply not enough to say we have proved anything.
So for right now, I simply enjoy our "little victories" and hopw that in time, more and more people will start to understand what we have been saying all along.

OK I was just wondering because you started this thread on 9/28 when you apparently were taking 4mg and said you planned to go with the move down to .5mg. Then on 10/1 you stated "well jb i only did .5mg today and will do the same tomorow"

Anyway, we all lose track of days now and then and... whatever the case, glad to hear your doing better on less.

well there is a real good possibility i did lose track of days for sure!! when i started the thread i was only taking 4mg. but like i said i can definitley definitely feel an energy boost that i did not feel at all bfore!

We all mix up two weeks with two days from time to time.

And you and jb have great synergy. it's almost as if...no, never mind.

im confused about the good synergy part all i know is i have just been posting on how my life is going. what i have been experiencing as i have been tapering down and hopeing that my experience maybe could help some one else.

i have stopped my suboxone completley

Well i had another whole thread about this but wasnt sure if i needed to start a new one or not so if the mods want to merge it thats fine with me.:) i just wanted to let every one know i used james browns tapering method and it worked very sucessfully. i went from 16mg to 4 mg to 2 mg then finally 1mg and decided 3 days ago that i felt like at this point i was just continuing to string my self along bcause i actually was getting energy boosts from the lower doses and my goal all along was to quit completley and i had enough subs to go on at these low doses for like 6 months. i did something very unusual for my addict mind to do i got rid of every sub i had including little tiny peices and all !!! it is now day 3 with no subs whatsoever and i must admit i have used benzos for sleep but other than sleeping problems and some restless legs and minor lower back hurting which i expected some withdrawels tthings r going GREAT!!! tapering works it really does so wish me luck everyone and once again james brown u rock and i suggest to anyone wanting to come off subs he is definitley the man to talk to. i am really really hoping i can stay off pills this time i have a positive mind frame and i think i can do it. suboxone changed my life i just chose to b one of the people that didnt want to b on it for forever but i have no problems with people that do. it gave me my life back and now i am hoping to have it back pill free completley!!=D

Well the worst has probably yet to come. Bupe has a half-life of 36 hours, so I am guessing your withdrawals will start to intensify.

thats for sure, and congrats if you can do whats about to come....

but JBs method involves very low doses for weeks at a time......not jumping off at 1mg
