Two weeks and he still says the same thing
It has been two weeks my son on Lexapro. Today, I asked him whether he would be able to go to school but he still says he is anxious phobic.
It really irritated me since I know Lexapro as an AD works faster than other SSRIs. He is happy as an angel at home but whenever I talk about school, his face become gloomy.
I had to cancel an interview for a fairly good job because since my son is in this condition, I can not leave my house. The new job was requiring staying away from my house.
I scolded him. Actually what does it mean psychotherapy? It means talking to the patient. I talked and talked and talked to him that he will not be able to overcome his fears if he decides to stay home. He is taking a good medication and all that he needs now is interaction with others so that he can overcome this dreadful phobia gradually if not quickly.
He does not seem to understand what I really mean. I am really tired,
