Real raves (for clarification in the USA "rave" refers to giant commerical shitfests)

House is definately dance music, and that track you posted isnt too bad, could have been much worse. But i am almost certain you could never find a gabba track that is even slightly enjoyable lol.

You're just a child. What would you know?

... What insult? I merely stated you are a child at 20. Am I wrong?
Yep, considering i was officially and legally an adult nearly 3 years ago now ;) You could say i am young but that still has no relevance to what i do and do not know about music.

I'm 21. A year makes a lot of difference.

and if you say you dont like house forget tech house, deep house, electro house and all that shit and educate yourself on trax records, ghetto house, and recent genres like uk funky, kwaito, kuduro.

funky house :!
i don't like being closed minded about music but i have yet to find any house i enjoy at all.. good to see there is a range of tastes on bl though! gabba is clearly the best form of dance music :p

I've tried liking house but the situation is not too dissimilar to a heterosexual wanking over two men fisting. It's just not going happen and it's fucking shit trying.

"uk funky" is totally different from "funky house", and sounds nothing like it!

Hmmm house music, its just a bit meh imo. Used to hate gabba, now i can't get enough of it. I feel sorry for those who can't appreciate it, gives me such a buzz at a party, especially the euphoric breakdowns in some gabba tracks.

Back to the subject of real raves, i went for a nice 12 hour stomp in a muddy field on saturday night, just can't beat it.

I am 21 in just over 2 months, does that mean i will automatically no longer be a child and will actually know what i am talking about suddenly?

Anyways this whole thing is a bit silly now and we are taking the thread off track.

hehe really? the name just makes me shudder.. i probably still would not like it, am a lost cause when it comes to house music i am afraid.

and gabbamess, i agree, gabba makes me very happy indeed :) went through a bit of a euphoric phase, am now more of a uk breakcore-influenced gabba girl :)

I can settle the argument over what's better, house or gabba by telling you they are both equally shit. Fact. ;)
