I have blacked out from 50mg-120mg, some times alone, some times with alcohol and some times with oxy. Maybe it's just me that it does it too.

Why is it that people say temazepam is the most euphoric benzo. Cause i think its weak

Valium is generally prescribed for anxiety where Temazepam is generally prescribed for sleeping issues.

Yep I have found this too with temaz. Saturday night I had 50mg (not all at once) with a few drinks, and I must have lost hours of the night.

Temazepam comes on slow peaks at 3 hours then rapidly fades away. I think it was only well liked when those liquid caps were around.

I know there are differences in duration and time of onset but I really wonder if I could tell which was which if I were given the different benzos at similar doses on different occaisions in a blind tasting like they do with wine...

I wouldn't go as far as to call temazepam euphoric, but as I stated earlier it does offer a good body high. The weird thing with temazepa for me is when I had no tolerance I would have to take what I would consider a relatively large benzo equivalent dose to feel it, mainly because I feel temazepam lacks some subtle effects which make other benzodiazepines like diazepam so great. Nowadays though, with a tolerance, I find myself taking a relatively lower dose of temazepam than other benzo's to achieve a nice sedating high.
I would add that I find temazepam and alcohol a particularly destructive combination, but temazepam on its own is much less likely to cause me to wreak havoc as I generally take it to induce sedation on my own, where otherbenzodiazepines I will favour social/public use.
For whatever reason, temazepam and alcohol is a combination that has in the past contributed to me getting physically violent more consistently than any other drug or drug combo I can think of. I will say that using benzo's prior to social events which encourage heavy drinking is a sure fire way to get yourself into a spot of bother rather quickly.

i agree big time. so i never drink on those little buggers anymore. first and last time i though it would be a great idea i woke up the next morning went outside for a smoke looked at my car and discovered the front end all smashed up.

The problem with categories like 'antidepressants' and 'antipsychotics' with psych medications is that they were labelled early in their development based on what they were initially observed to treat. SSRIs/etc are now widely used and effective for anxiety, but because they were branded antidepressants some people are wary about taking them for anxiety. For long-term therapy in anxiety they are preferable to benzos (like valium), which are addictive and can be very hard (even fatal) to stop.
If you want regular medication to treat your anxiety, you probably (not always) want an 'antidepressant'. If you want medication that you can abuse recreationally, benzos all the way

This happened to me a few years ago, cept with kpins. Had been driving on 2 blown tyres and fucked almost every panel on my car, hit another car, ended up in a police station. Thinking back scares the absolute shit outta me. Very Lucky.

Way off topic but I am on Mirtazapine (avanza) for depression and anxiety, both come and go in intense peroids, however it seemed to only effect my anxiety for a short peroid before it returned same as before, if not worse. It's like the bad effects of heavy daily marijuana use without the good part of the daily use. That being said I am only just 6 weeks into the course. Also my moods have not changed at all, concentration haven't changed. I have been getting more sleep though, thank fuck.

^Yup. I'm on a long road getting off benzos (currently now just valium 15mg daily), and totally agree with Divine Moments' post. The reason I have ever taken benzos, especially diazepam is because it works. I remember my doc even saying to me once "well yeah that is obviously why it's come to this, cos you take them because they get rid of your anxiety.
^^Jakeperson. I was on Citalopram for way too long when I think about it now (about 8 months), and the exact same seems to happen to me with SSRIs. I had a few weeks where I felt a bit better, then back to total shit, then double dose, then back to shit, then switched to 100mg sertraline, and now up to 200mg sertraline. Am really hoping this is going to help, cos i'm still evening out on the 200mg, but after trying 3 different SSRIs before, I have my doubts about them being any help for me.
