Long-term serotonergic changes from LSD?

Have recently begun experimenting with LSD, and it's an absolutely delightful substance. However, I'm concerned that since it's postulated (or is?) a 5-HT2A agonist it could potentially cause long-term serotonergic changes.

Does anyone know of any studies on LSD and its potential to cause changes in the serotonin system or other parts of the brain? I haven't found anything to indicate this is a concern, but initially thought this was not a major issue with MDMA and later discovered it's quite neurotoxic.

I want to have fun, but me and my brain, we're tight. I take care of him, and he takes care of me. Need to make sure he's safe. :P

I would LOVE to read any studies you could point me to. My roomie has access to PubMed, etc. so a link to an abstract would be just fine, too.

What about receptor downregulation with heavy and/or regular use?

LSD can, in certain individuals, have a moderate to drastic impairment of psychosocial coping skills. You know, like, woah man.

Also, any data about concomitant usage with MDMA?

I'm really afraid you are wrong in the place you are posting and the topics you are choosing.
No idea of what the h*** are you looking for here.:X

The same I told you in the other thread you've started about MDMA and trying to make the allegedly neurotoxicity be the responsible of the Loss of Magic??:o8o

Don't really know what are you looking for.:(
