I can't seem to find out dosage. It doesnt say on Erowid. Could somebody point me in the right direction? Also would taking benadryl beforehand be a good idea to reduce any nausea and increase my high? Feel free to share your experiences with opium,and how it effects you. %)
 
Theres no way to tell you what dosage to take because the potency by weight for opium is extremely varied. It would be a complete guess for someone over the internet to tell you how much opium to smoke.(im assuming your smoking it right?).

As far as the benadryl, yes you can take some before you smoke the opium, and it could very well help with histamine reactions to the opiate alkaloids. I dont know about benadryl helping with nausia, it has never done that for me. Also, it would not potentiate the high of opium)or any other opiate) it would merely sedate you more(if that). And in my opinion, that isnt potentiating your opium high, because its not activating any opiod receptors or anything, its just making you more sleepy. And id rather be awake to enjoy my opium buzz.

Just my opinion.
 
The best way to start out is to just smoke a ball half the size of an eraser head to yourself and see how that goes. ALWAYS start small and you can always work your way up if you would like to manage that sort of thing. happy stoned thoughts! Opium that is real can be more amazing than The euphoric rushes of I.V. Heroin my friend, and I know because I happen to LOVE me some opiates. :)
 
taking benadryl is pointless wit opium. theres no way to measure any dosage. where i live opium latex (gum or whatever u call it there) is common and we do it very very small pieces, so small that it can fit in ur fingernail tho opium here (middle east) is way too potent and its very easy to od on it so be uber careful. i see too many ppl ate a small piece and ODed

dont ever redose, it takes sum time to kick in, so be patient.
 
Don't bother taking benedryl to reduce nausea, it won't work that well. It will also reduce your body buzz by reducing the "pins and needles" effect of wonderful opium. just smoke weed with it and you will be just fine.
