Drugs are just a costly short cut to feeling good. I appreciate what they can do for art and music, but when their use is just for the sake of using... you've got yourself an abusive relationship with them. No matter how much you love them.. they will not change and they will not benefit you. They will only continue to drag you down, where as a girl you love could give her love and support. Its not just doing the drugs being the problem.. its also how you get them, who your hanging out with, and how it will shape your lifestyle.

Hi DXMKid, I just saw your post in Other Drugs. Please don't consider suicide. As a mod on SLR, I can tell you I've had plenty of failed relationships, many of which have broken my heart. Two of them made me feel like I would never get past it, but I guarantee you that you will find someone else. Please see a therapist or consider that drugs may be clouding your judgement and making you feel depressed. You are only 17, and while I think you can feel heartbreak and pain at any age, I promise you that this girl is not the end of the world and you will find yourself with someone else. You have to love yourself first, so please take a few deep breaths and reflect on yourself and what you can do to get past this.

Lord I'm sure it's not your intent but you really shouldn't give the OP suicide advice.
To DXMkid, I would imagine it's difficult to manage an addiction and relationship at the same time, while also working through high school. Managing either one on its own can be hard work. Maybe it would be best work on your drug use issues before persuing a relationship. It's hard for me to give advice though because I haven't worked out my own drug use issues, nor have I felt much love for another person as you clearly do. I do know that suicide won't resolve these issues.

It got closed because asking for advice on how to fatally overdose is pretty much the antithesis of harm reduction.
You're 17 man. You have your entire life ahead of you. If you really love this girl, you wouldn't put her through the anguish that she would undoubtedly experience if you killed yourself. What about your other friends, and your family too? C'mon, by the time you're twenty this will be a distant fucking memory.
