Wobbly Electro House (Fidget and the like)

fidget house?

anyone here into fidget house?
does anyone like to listen to it while rolling?
hahahaha.

if you havent, roll to hey! remix by foamo.

electro/fidget I love... w/ a side of dubstep my life is complete. I will leave this open I know we have an electro thread and some fidget discussion is in it, but not sure if we have a solely fidget thread.... i'll leave it open for now unless I dig up an old fidget thread.

you like fidget OP? What about Crookers?????????

i love crookers, and fidget is my favorite sub-genre of house.
though their new stuff on their album is kinda wack...
remedy is fucking good tho, that and hip hop changed.

i notice you have the bloody beetroots as your avatar, i used to respect them....
but theyve gone way overboard with the WARP stuff.

drop the lime
herve
jack beats
fake blood
dj zinc is just phenomenal with the new crack house vol2, lets go is definitely my favorite track, great song to roll to ahaha.

Crookers new stuff is different but im glad they experimented and went a new direction, the next album will be something you will NEVER expect. At first I hated the whole album but it grew on me, I like maybe half of it now. But ive seen crookers since they released the new album and trust me 90% of what they played was similar electro/fidget set your used to.

As far as bloody beetroots I feel like Steve Aoki pushed the whole Warp thing of course for the $$ as well as trying to get some of their lime light.... the talent they possess compared to him is a joke... and he runs onstage during warp everytime.... personally I still enjoy the track but only now if its live. Have you heard any of the recordings of them as a live band now ? They do their electro productions live, as well as some punk covers, and off the wall weird experimental stuff. TBH bloody beetroots are amazing dj's but 10x better live as a band. They were the best live act at Ultra 2010 and tied for best performance with A-trak (but a trak wasnt live)

The artists you mentioned that I bolded in quotes are awesome! Your in the right direction...

ever listen to afrojack, ac slater, douster, kevin focus, or diplo?

crookers are putting out new stuff?
damn i didnt know...

yeh steve aoki kinda ruined bloody beetroots for me, i liked them better before they got commercialized and started playing all these big la raves..

im familiar with every artist youve mentioned, except kevin focus..
but as of now i cannot stop listening to dj zinc, i suggest you listen to his stuf especially: pimp my ride, jekyll and hide, lets go, mouthfull, my dj.

also mstrkrft has always been my favorite, theyre not really fidget but...theyll always have a special place in my heart haha.
jfk of mstrkrft sounds like fidget ever listen to towel swinger?

never heard towel swinger.. and im listening to the mstrkrft essential mix right now which is FIRE. I saw them in november however and they were HORRIBLE. Worst electro set ive EVER heard seriously. The openers KILLED them.

Crookers are working on a new album right now. it wont be out till 3rd quarter of next year maybe 2nd quarter...

Kevin Focus is outta charlotte, NC and has caught some attention after remixing the big electro track from last year "polkadots" hes good shit check him out. I got more artists, I can suggest my memory is so bad they pop in my head randomly, when I think of more I will mention them! You want to trade mixes? or have me send ya some I can tell ya what I got.

and the reason that Bloody Beetroots started playing LA raves and massives is for money... even if they didn't want to do it (which I assume they did anyways) aoki woulda pushed them into it anyways. It also gave them a chance to expose their music to people who had never heard of them.... it didnt change their talent or skill level ya know.... plus they are on a smal venue tour as a live band RIGHT NOW I seriously ADVISE you catch one of the shows if you can. As a live band they are absolutely amazing. TOP 10 shows ive seen ever out of over 100

towel swinger and face pump are good.
yeah mstrkrft kinda sucks at mixing, theyre always fucked up when mixing...
i saw jfk back in april he was pretty good, threw some black noize, gigi barrocco and congorock in the mix it was pretty good.

ive got the dj zinc essential mix, i suggest you listen to his stuff his stuff is like a mixture of fidget and like i dunno how to explain it but the synths he uses sound dremy and mellow, but they get you dancing tho believe that.
lets go is a monster of a track tho.
ive also got the mstrkrft essential mix, and a1 basslines rob da bank mix, foamos fat club mix.

you like a1 bassline or foamo? i swear the uk is killing it with the fidget house at the moment nothing but good songs coming outta them.
foamo remixed devils eyes by drop the lime, and i suggest that EVERYONE listen to that track, its fucking mindblowing, especially when rolling.

yeah i dunno tho i liked bloody beetroots when they were more underground, more unheard of you know?
now all the annoying 15 yr ravers at my old high school know about them, and theyve been starting to discover jack beats....when ive been knowing about them since i was a sophomore (now graduated) hahahaa.

Just because beetroots got more mainstream doesn't mean they aren't VERY talented. I'm telling you, when you see them as a LIVE band its twice as amazing. Check any of their recent videos (last 4 months, there all live band performances)... i think you will agree.... At ultra there was 14 stages and over 200 bands/djs. No crowd danced/moshed harder than the beetroots set. BTW ultra had 45 thousand each day and sold out, at deadmau5 they stood STILL.

And I get what you mean about it being annoying people discovering music that you listened to for years. I started listening to KoRn when their first cd came out, 4 years later they blew up... of course no one seemed to remember me recommending them to everyone when I discovered them... and now they suck... but I just don't see that happening with beetroots...

another similar thing is I started raving at 16 (well 14 if you count underage clubs) and when I turned 19.. all my buddies started going to warehouse parties acting like it just started... I had to inform them warehouse parties in chicago had been going in since late 1989 lol

And yes mstrkrft is FUCKED up when they play, and 1 of them.. can't remember who.. smokes about 25-30 cigs in a set... I will tell you though that their essential mix is GOLD!

i still enjoy the beetroots old stuff, but yeah i will definitely check them out and see what yr talking about..
yeah word, i hate deadmau5...

yea man i hate when something good gets discovered and blown up by all these lil kids.

yeah man they drink crown royal like water. yeah i know who yr talking about, thats jfk he goes through a whole pack when dj'ing he used to play in death from above 1979, one of my all time favorite bands.

anybody here listen to rinse fm?
its pretty fucking great, nothing but fidget, dubstep, jungle and drum n bass.

yeah I have checked it out like 5 times... Like I said, I have the whole bloody beetroots discography and live mixes. As well as 60-80 1-3 hour electro house mixes by various artists, and about 10 electro mixes of my own if anyone wants them.

zinc was on it todaay, fucking speechless..
he doesnt like to give out trakclistings tho, figures all the tracks he plays are pure gold.

ive got some mixes of my own, anyone want em?
