I'm just wondering if I can walk into a store to buy a pill testing kit or is mail order the only option? I'd like to get one ASAP and I'm in Brisbane.

Thanks!

Yea man, you can either order online or walk into a shop and grab them..

They sell them at the Happy High Herbs here in Adelaide, check their brissie store there's a good chance they'll have them as well.

Cool there's one real close. I'll try there. Thanks guys.

Gonna have to renew my kit as it's a bit old & I don't trust it.
Anyhoo!!! For online go here: http://www.ez-test.com.au/
Best to pick up EZ Test Complete for $70.00 & free postage & handling in Australia.
PS.
Anyone actually know what the average shelf life of these testers are?:)

Please be aware that the ez-test.com.au payment system is still not secure on their site. You need to email eztest and they will give you a number to call. It is supposed to be fixed soon.

A couple of weeks back their delivery time was overnight so if they keep it up these guys are definitely the best option at the moment for reagent testers IMO.

If u order them online, Do they come in discreet packaging? Cause more then likely i wont be home when it arrives.

Ahh good, I just wasnt to keen on it rocking up with 'ez testers' written all over it. Dont think the old would like that too much.

Thanks for the heads up mate. Was just about to replace my old kit.

if everyone who dropped had testers there would be no adulterated shit getting around.

maybe a future government incentive.....rebate on testing kits

Unfortunately they are not a fool proof method. It is still easy to fool reagent testers. Still definitely buy reagent testers though and cross reference with Pillreports.

The government shut down public pill testing so I doubt they'd subsidise testing kits sadly.

They used to have public pill testing?!? When was that? I had no idea... it's too bad really :(

Yeah. Back in the day rave safe, i think, used to do free pill testing at events and record a database of what was going around. The cops shut it down.

There's a bit more to it than that, at least in regards to pill testing in Qld, which hasn't happened since the late 90s afaik. Taita can probably elaborate here if he's around. Enlighten tested for many years at events in Vic and Adelaide, but when the subject became in the spotlight (check past BL posts) it was quickly evident it wouldn't be supported by authorities.

Since the time I've been involved with RS (early '99), reagent testing has never been done by our group. While I campaigned long and hard to get approval, or at least some dialogue with authorities, in the end it was decided a better approach was to bypass the problems associated with reagent testing and strive directly for an authority sanctioned form of lab testing.

The reasons for abandoning the idea of onsite testing were numerous. Just briefly, the major problems involve the inaccuracy of the tests (incl. liability issues), the handling of controlled substances by those not authorized, and the numerous objections from politicians, health officials and community groups regarding "sending the wrong message".

However, times have changed, as have the types and numbers of new drugs regularly entering the market. In relation to this, the importance of an early warning system is now well recognised by everyone from LE, to Medics, to HR groups. We all seem to now be on the same page. Accordingly, considerable ground has recently been made towards getting approved lab testing up and running (& making results available to the public). I'm more optimistic than I've ever been that a pilot project (or 2) of some sort will occur in the near future.

Thanks for that phase, that's why I added the "I think". I guess I am showing my age if it was late 90s.

I really hope they do bring in an early warning system. Even a system like they used to have in the Netherlands where you could send pills in to be tested then have the results published would be good.

That would also help to weed out the bunk pill sellers.
