RCs Phenprobamate

Yeah I saw it recently also, but i have no experience with it.. I too wonder about this substance

I've never tried phenprobamate, but I tell you what, I'll take carisoprodol or meprobamate over benzos any day.

Damn I love soma, I wonder what the effects of this are. Its so cheap, I think I might just get some. Would like to see an experience report first though, haven't been able to find any for some odd reason.
 
Tried 900mg (in separate doses) last night. The effect was similar to soma, but more upsetting to the stomach.

Still it has some anxiolytic and sedative properties, and has some abuse potential. No real hangover the day after.

Will try higher doses....
 
Did you ever try this phenprobamate again Negrogesic? Or has anyone else tried this? Is it worth even taking, and i wonder how similar it really is to Soma..
 
I've tried phenprobamate at various dosages. Recreationally it's not as good as Soma, but it works pretty well for sleep and relaxation. It's anxiolytic, but I don't think it would help much for social situations because it causes too much sedation. Wikipedia lists dosages of around 350-800 mg, but myself and others have found that doses closer to 2 grams are required to really feel anything.
 
Tried this one three times orally 1000mg dose. Didn't feel any major effects at all. Maybe a little bit mildly sedative.

Conclusion: no abuse potential. Waste of money. I don't recommed this shit for anybody.
 
O So besides "fjjf" , Has anyone else our there tried this phenprobomate stuff recently? and if so how were the result... are the effects at least somewhat there when on this phenprobamate??

honestly just looking of a good muscle relaxer thats good, potent and §åfè! (something better then flexril..)

It's way better than Flexeril, which is useless IMO. It causes very nice muscle relaxation, but I would use a dose of at least 1-2 grams, which is higher than the dose of 400-800 mg listed on wikipedia. I don't know how "safe" it is, but related drugs (carisoprodol, meprobamate), are considered to be safe drugs, as long as you don't take a huge amount or use it everyday. You can become physically addicted to muscle relaxers, and the withdrawal is supposedly similar to alcohol or barbiturate withdrawals, which are horrible.
 
meprobamate is hard to find and is related chemically to carisporodal(Soma)altho i think i misspelled that,and it is even better than soma is ( mepbrobamate ) and i love me some fucking somas!! Meprobamate is in Equanil and equigesic as well as miltown, and miltown is hardly ever prescribed but Equanil is as well as Equagesic(with acetaminophen), but it does not take as much of it as soma to get you loaded,,never heard of this phenprobomate shit but if its not even half as good as soma then it's not worth the time or money.

I don't think that the majority of Soma's effects can be attributed to first-order metabolism to Miltown. I prefer vastly Soma's initial effects, which can kick in in an little as twenty minutes, but which last within a couple hours, giving way to sedation that I'm more neutral towards.

^ Well he just finished explaining to you that he prefers carisoprodol over mepro, so chances are he disagrees with that ;).

Either way, carisoprodol in and of itself is very active pharmacologically, the meprobamate metabolite is just a nice value-added.
