pff, i am so sorry; that is a heart-breaking story. i know you are thankful for the wonderful time you had with him. {{{hugs}}} <3

Oh pff, that is so sad hun! Thanks for sharing with us though, he sounds like he was a really beautiful creature <3
We are so lucky to have these wonderful little souls to share our time with.
RIP Thumper <3

Thanks girls. It was a really hard time.

Anyone who has ever bonded with an animal (no matter how much they push your buttons sometimes when they do naughty things) knows that a pet is never "just a pet", they are a part of the family, with strong attachment.

And let me tell you Thumper was NAUGHTY when he was a little guy, insanely naughty (like our first winter in our house and Thumper got a hold of a mouse and let it loose in our bed.....WHILE IT WAS STILL ALIVE!) :) :) I try to remember those sorts of things, the times when he was naughty and all of the good times that we had together. And I know that he had a long and good life and that eases my heart a bit too.

So thanks again ladies. <3 <3 <3

They look a lil chunky... lol
Its alright, my cat is a FAT ASS!
But when you have no claws and no balls, food is all you have I guess. :)

I got them all hungry like that. They are about 10 human years old. I'm not sure what that is in cat years.

I have three kitties. <3 Emerson, Loki and Hendrix, all boys. :)

Emerson is the black and white one, Loki is the fluffy lighter tabby and Hendrix is the dark tabby.

Vader, best lil kitty ever. Got an infection that spread to his blood and we had to put him down in the beginning of January :( I miss the lil guy. He liked playing with sticks.

^I normally don't like little dogs, but he is just TOO FUCKING CUTE!!!!!! *cuteness overload* :)

And I just noticed you live in St. Pete... *jealous as fuck* (My grandparents used to have a house on the water on Vina del Mar and Pass-A-Grille beach is one of my favorite places on earth!) My dumb kitties would probably try to go in the ocean, though, lol.

^ yep i've lived on St.Pete Beach now 30 years Vina & Pass a Grille are on the south end of the island but its nice here for sure .:D

Update on my reef...it is now in a 40g breeder 36"x18" footprint under a 6x39w t5 TEK light. I dose prodibio bioptim, iodi, stronti, biodigest and reef booster, and use Brightwell Code A+B two part calcium/alkalinity system, Magnesion, and am running two skimmers. You can definitely notice the growth from the last pics.

The growth is noticeable every day, particularly that Birdsnest coral (the brown, branchy one). That colony on the far right at the top is just made of little pieces that snapped off of the main colony. The colors are out of control and with stony corals growing like weeds, I'm definitely smiling as I finally an fine-tuning my skills in this hobby.

=D

Corals are so beautiful. How difficult would you say is keeping them?

I totally forgot about this thread... but yeah all my little fishies died in a water accident... but the big ones are fine.

One funny incident is that my "black" moor goldfish suddenly lost most of its black and became orange... hehe.
