Losing sense of reality on Ecstasy?

I have rolled in the past before, but nothing quite odd like this has happened. I was on two pills and I was peaking off the second one. At that point, two of my buddies and I smoke a joint. I smoked a lot of it and at this point i am fucked up beyond belief. At the time, deadmau5 was playing and his music and visuals were putting me into a trance; i was losing my sense of reality and getting lost in his music. As I would try to snap out of it, it would only pull me back in. Everyone around me was moving kinda slow and although i knew everything was real, its just didnt feel real.

This feeling went away after the weed wore off. It was kinda scary, I had to leave the mainstage and go sit in the stands. I still feel kinda weird (in a "dream-state") to this day, but it might be due to something completely unrelated, i'm not sure. Has anyone else had an experience similar to this? Does anyone know what this is and what causes it?
 
thats my favorite part of ecstasy. lol but i dont need to smoke weed to get to that point. you were just rolling hard! i usually put on my headphones and bump house while getting blown up, that'll do it.

I guess so. It was just the first time it happened to me and it took me by surprise. Do people actually enjoy getting to that state?
 
floored,rolling balls, getiing blown up etc.... yes alot of people enjoy that. it is one of the wonders of ecstasy.
 
I smoked too much hash once and i forgot who i was and i was scared i was going to wake up as a different person, so now i don't get that fucked up anymore haha!

It happens to me usually after more than two pills and it almost feels like i'm on some kind of hallucinogen, I'll get that strange loss of reality feeling and possibly start getting real cool visuals.
I think it's super fun its just such a different feeling :)
 
Yeah that sort of stuff can definitely happen when rolling pretty hard. I actually kind of like zoning out to the music if one of my favorite artists/DJs are playing. Don't forget that MDMA is still a psychedelic amphetamine, so even though most of the time it doesn't feel distinctly psychedelic, it still can do strange things with your ability to "look through the window" of reality.

Hell Yeah - I love it :D

I usually try to continue dancing though as sitting down just seems like a waste - small bumbs of ketamine when rolling give you that dreamlike floaty feeling.

Normally after a day or two you should be feeling back to normal though.
 
I used to go out Fridays after work. I would wake up at 4:30am to get ready and work for 10 hours and then go out at 10pm to roll. I would completely lose it and hear voices and my mind will trick me into thinking I was somewhere completely different. I found if I went to bed when I got home and slept for 4+ hours none of this would happen.

Weed makes me feel lethargic and does the exact same thing as getting no sleep while on MDMA.
 
The best part of experiencing that is eventually you might be able to tap into that state of mind any time. I can get there for a little bit depending on my surroundings. Mainly I do this when i'm at the club and taking a break from dancing; i'll just lean on the rails or sit and just CHILL.
 
deadmau5 in Boston the other night? man they wouldn't let me into the show for no good reason I had tickets for months!! :( they said my little brother was drunk and then wouldn't let ANY of us in...we were completely sober -_- anyway I get disconnect from reality wicked bad its even weirder when your in a normal setting, say at home, and you feel like its all a dream.. smoking weed probably makes it happen I guess, seeing as I blane mad weed the whole time I'm rolling because I cant help it...if you don't like that feeling i guess just try not smoking when rolling?? I personally like the disconnect dream world probably because I'm used to it :)
 
Hey guys I took loads of pills and then smoked some weed, it made me feel fucked up why uis this?!??!?
 
I've been there, esp. with smoking weed while on other substances. My advice is to just go with the flow next time, don't try to fight it or it usually feels scarier. Go with the flow and it usually passes. Try to find somewhere to sit and chill if you can. :) Luccckkkyyy, you got to see Deadmau5. They were playing in my home town, 4 hours away on the 11th and I was hoping to go but didn't work out lol.
 
Never got any visuals but have snapped in and out of "reality". I like the feeling, made me laugh when I realized I had stopped my convo and just zoned out
 
Its just the HIGH. You always have to accept and let go. Its the main reason for the use of drugs. To kinnda escape reality. DON'T EVER FIGHT YOUR HIGH. Its just causes panick attacks
