What are you listening to?

I've been listening to Brandi Carlile a lot lately. She's kind of folky, and her voice sort of sounds like Patsy Cline, Joan Jett, and Joan Osborne all rolled into one.

Her cover of "The Times They are a Changing" seriously makes me want to learn how to sing and play the guitar.
 
^PFF, in my extremely sleepy and hungoverish state I read your post as enjoying BELINDA carlisle, and I was going to post something about how the go-gos are actually a good band, and then i realized you were talking about someone else entirely.

Hey what happened to the full "sounds raping your ears" title? I thought that was eye-catching.

And as for what I'm listening to, just a bunch of j-rock and visual kei music courtesy of Pandora Radio; I typed in Orange Range and away we go.

I kind of doubt the genre's popularity, but anyone listen to J-rock or J-pop in here? For some reason I love that stuff. Pretty much any band from Japan I've heard I end up liking just cuz they have some unique takes on genres that are invented in America.
